I came across an article like this in a recent post.
That's what you'd expect from a major company!
Only the big companies can do that, right?
The nozzle end of this machine appears to be capable of automatic spraying; in the video, it was moving in a circular motion?
It was also on display at the recent Construction Technology Fair 2021 Chubu, so I found it really interesting!
In that video, a nozzle was attached to the tip of a crane, and construction was taking place at a considerable height.
Is it possible that mechanization and digital transformation will gradually resolve the labor shortage like this? It’s certainly a real possibility.
Personally, I think automated plants are a good idea.
I just thought it would be nice if Nozzleman could use a remote to raise and lower the air pressure and the material, lol.
It would be great if just two people—one at the plant and one operating the nozzle—could do the mortar spraying, wouldn't it?

However, since these are products from major manufacturers, they obviously won’t be available to us (we can’t buy them), so,
We small and micro-sized contractor firms will end up doing the work manually, relying on sheer manpower. (No doubt about it, lol.)
That said, I’ve actually been running the plant all by myself for a few years now, lol.
If there is a man over 65, there may be two of them.
Once the ingredients are out, as long as the recipe doesn't change, it's just the same thing over and over again, and
As long as there are no stones inside, it rarely gets clogged.
Come to think of it, automatic is the way to go, isn't it?

I’m not entirely opposed to the idea of taking on a job from a major spray-coating company every once in a while, but,
We don't have enough staff to handle that.
The only thing that concerns me is that, since the system is so expensive, there’s a possibility that labor costs will keep dropping?
Large companies, in particular, have a purchasing department where unit prices from across the country are compiled.
Since it’s usually standard to go with the lower figure, I wonder how this will turn out.
If a machine starts performing work that used to be done by several people,
Since spray application work is billed at market rates, the unit price is fixed.
If the equipment costs don't add up when installing automated machinery, where should we cut back?
If we don't take a long-term view and factor the depreciation of machinery costs into our on-site operations, things could get pretty tough, right?
Well, since it's a major company, I guess there's no need to worry about that, lol.
I just can't help but worry about small amounts of money—I'm such a penny-pincher, lol.
By the way, it seems that machines like this are also being developed, so it will be interesting to see how the major manufacturers in this industry evolve in the future.

Our work is quite dependent on the construction methods and machinery used by major companies.
Let's take a good look!
And while we’re currently a slope-construction and anchor-installation company—work that can’t be automated—what should we do going forward?
Will we continue to coexist with the major players?
Are we going to continue gathering a crew manually to carry out the construction, just as we have been?
Are we going to move forward with something unique to our company?
I feel like the time to make a choice is just around the corner.
