I prefer summer to the rainy season, but summer sure is hot, isn't it? lol
And above all, the low efficiency of summer work is a real headache, isn't it?
I imagine every worksite is taking various measures to prevent heatstroke.
Generally speaking, salted candy and OS1 (a sports drink) are the main staples, right?
Or rather, are you doing anything beyond that?
Isn't this pretty much the norm even on a general contractor's job site?

However,On the other hand, there are absolutely no measures you can take once you’ve already developed heatstroke.Right?
For example, what would you do if a worker suffered from heatstroke on site?
Call an ambulance, and in the meantime, take the person into an air-conditioned room and cool their limbs and armpits.
I'm sure everyone everywhere feels the same way!
Or rather, that's all there is to it, right!?
There are practically no measures to take after the fact, right?
And did you know that this isn't very effective?

Simply setting up a cold water bath at the site may help reduce the severity of heatstroke

Ideally, using fresh well water is the best option, but depending on the situation, you might have to draw water from a river.
Tap water is a bit iffy, but it might be okay if you just let it run.

From the data above, I think it’s clear that while this measure is better than doing nothing, it doesn’t really serve much purpose.
I've heard that during the summer, if you set up a cold water bath at the job site and soak in it before heading home, it makes a huge difference in how tired you feel at the end of the day!
After all, it brings your fever down in a flash!!!
If someone on site is suffering from heatstroke, feeling sick, has a headache, or is experiencing numbness in their hands or feet, rather than just letting them take a break,
Taking a cold bath helps prevent the condition from getting worse!
Patients with severe heatstroke are placed in ice-water baths at the hospital.
The sooner you do that, the less likely it is to become severe.
As the general contractor, we need to make sure we have a bath and ice blocks ready to prevent heatstroke!
You can't drink OS1 after you've already gotten heatstroke, right?
That's why they give you an IV at the hospital.
As I was writing this article, I started thinking, “Maybe I should try making a cold-water bath that’s easy to use on site,” lol.
Well, I suppose there are some situations where it can be used and others where it can't, but,
I think it could also serve as a water tank when it's not in use.
It would be a good idea to surround the cold bath with shade cloth so it can't be seen from the outside, right?
And if someone gets heatstroke, maybe we should have someone keep an eye on them to make sure they don't drown?
