The other day, I washed my safety shoes.
Well, it’s nothing out of the ordinary, but I washed my shoes at a coin-operated laundromat for the first time.
Huh?
I know some of you might be thinking, “Really?” but this is the type of washing machine that comes with a brush.
This is what it looked like before washing.
The safety shoes I usually wear are on the left, and since I also had a pair of Nike Air Force Ones, I washed them together.
This is a washing machine for shoes.
There's a brush there, too, so it looks like it should be able to get the dirt off.
This is what it looks like with two pairs of 28 cm shoes.
It looks like it would clean my feet if the brush spun, but at first glance, it seems like it can't clean the heel area.
Since it takes about 15 minutes to wash in the washing machine, once it's done, place it in the dryer mounted on top.
I put in 200 yen and let it dry for 40 minutes.
Even so, it's still damp, so I think 60 minutes should be enough for the shoes to dry completely.
We recommend the 60-minute session!

I wondered if I could use the dryer.
This is just a trivial post, but,
I’ve been wanting to try out this shoe-specific washing machine for a while, and this seemed like the perfect opportunity (especially since it’s the New Year’s holiday).
Since work starts in earnest tomorrow, let's wash our shoes and get ourselves in the right frame of mind!
