Last Friday, both our Vietnamese and Japanese employees completed their second vaccine doses.

How about your company??

We prioritized vaccinations, even if it meant halting work on-site.

I think we caused a great deal of trouble for the general contractor.

I'm sorry.

However, since the risk of severe illness among unvaccinated frontline workers seemed most likely to bring operations to a halt, we prioritized vaccination.

The general consensus is that as long as you've been vaccinated, even if you do catch COVID-19, it'll be nothing more than a runny nose.

Since there are almost no symptoms (which is kind of a pain, lol), there’s a pretty good chance you’ll be able to work as usual.

However, if someone hasn't been vaccinated, they will clearly show symptoms, so they will definitely have to take time off work.

Losing even one person is a huge blow, especially given our existing staff shortage.

I guess getting vaccinated early is the way to prevent that, lol.

Have you guys gotten your shots yet?

We're 90% done with the concrete pour!

We're going to be cranking out projects left and right as we head toward the end of the fiscal year!!

Recently, the ratio of first-tier subcontractors to second-tier subcontractors has evened out to about 50-50.

Since first-tier subcontractors can handle everything in-house—from cost estimation and design to construction and construction management—they’re incredibly efficient, aren’t they?

I’m just casually thinking that it would be nice if I could continue to maintain a good balance between first-tier and second-tier subcontracting work going forward.
