They just look like ordinary shoes, don't they?

Actually, I didn’t know this until I looked into safety shoes myself, but apparently they’re classified under both JIS and JSAA standards.
While JIS standards cover everything from extremely heavy-duty work to light-duty work, JSAA standards appear to be intended for general-duty to light-duty work.
To put it simply,These stylish, cool-looking safety shoes meet JSAA standards and are designed for general or light-duty work.
Safety shoes—which are often perceived as clunky and uncool because they're made of leather—are designed to meet JIS standards and are suitable for all types of work.
That seems to be the case.
It seems the types are classified based on the load placed on the toes.
Among us slope workers, spiked safety tabi are pretty common, but are there actually standards for those?? lol (Is it just an unspoken rule?)
I wonder if there are standards for Anchor-brand oil-resistant boots????
It kind of feels like I've realized there's a trend where people call any shoe "safety shoes" as long as it has a toe cap, lol.
It’s better to have one than not, and it helps raise safety awareness, so that’s a plus—I’ll check out Workman or somewhere like that next time lol.
