When Installing Rebar, Should It Be Perpendicular to the Slope or at a Specified Angle!? (Part 1)

But that's beside the point.

Which angle is better for inserting rebar into formwork, sprayed mortar, or sprayed concrete?

 

If the drilling angle is specified,For suspended drillingThis greatly improves workability.

With a suspended drilling rig, it's really hard to make even slight adjustments to the angle.

There's a lever block attached to the end of the suspension, and you raise and lower it to adjust the angle.

If this were an attachable attachment for heavy machinery, there would still be some room to make changes, but even so, it would be a lot of work to manage.

You can adjust it by moving the heavy equipment, but the specified angle really does offer the best workability.

In the case of a slope with steep undulations, it looks like this.

In the case of double-pipe drilling on a scaffoldPouring Angle: Perpendicular to the SlopeThis makes it easier to install.

The reason for that is that it doesn't take much time to process the head.

Please look at the position of the plate (square washer) in the illustration above.

Since the angles don't line up,

It will be necessary to install mortar or a tapered plate under the pressure plate.

Even if the angle shifts due to the nut, the limit is 10 degrees or less.

The maximum angle between the plate and the rebar is approximately plus or minus 10 degrees from a right angle.That's it.

Any further tightening will cause problems with the nut or interfere with the cap when it is installed.

The red area shown above is the foundation, which is constructed using mortar or similar materials.

 

That's why it's best to keep the angles as close to right angles as possible lol
