Last Saturday, I went to an event called “Building a Community: An Exhibition of Various Jobs.”

"Should we teach civil engineering and architecture to today's students?" A prominent business leader took the stage to speak at an event designed to provide even a brief introduction to these fields.

This event is designed to help young people learn about various aspects of the construction industry.

A young person was listening intently to the discussion about civil engineering and architecture.

In the past, people used to choose jobs without really knowing much about the world, but now there’s all kinds of information available.

Of course, there’s also a flood of false, misleading, and exaggerated information, but,

At events like this, it’s a great opportunity for business leaders and other stakeholders who are well-versed in the field to come together and openly discuss the pros and cons of the work right in front of the audience, isn’t it?

It's great to be able to hear honest, unfiltered stories and to convey them clearly.

These are good times, aren't they?

I suppose young people still have nothing but a negative image of the construction industry.

I realized that it’s important to do things to help people understand that better.

I write this blog, too, but since it’s written from a professional perspective and aimed at professionals, it might not be the best fit for younger readers.

I thought I’d try to write a bit more—including those kinds of details—for young people who haven’t found jobs yet, covering things like “What exactly is a slope?” ^^;

But if that happens, I guess the pro version would feel kind of boring, huh? lol (Internal conflict)
