Hello, everyone.
This is Enta.
Have you heard of Peltier elements?
You’ve been seeing them a lot in the past few years—like neck coolers and such, right?
Neck Cooler, Peltier Element, Cooling Plate
The downside of this is that it's heavy, lol.
It weighs about 190 grams, but it felt surprisingly heavy, so it didn't work out.
I didn't actually buy it, but there was a sample, so I checked it out.
I feel like it's pretty tight when I wear this.
And this year, that brand has finally stepped up its game!

Workman Peltier Vest!!
This is a vest designed for both summer and winter that provides instant cooling (up to 10 degrees) and instant warmth (43 degrees)!
This is amazing, isn't it!
If you combine this with a climate-controlled suit, it looks like it'd be cold lol
Windcore ICE×HEATER Peltier Vest
It's just a little pricey, though...
I get the impression that about 20,000 is a bit pricey.
I do think that if this becomes really widespread, the price will go down even further, though.
But there's a problem—I wonder if they're going to change the battery shape every year? lol
This year, the batteries for air-conditioned clothing have changed again, and now there are models that run on 19V or so.
The problem is, I can't use the one from last year!
Fans from two years ago are totally useless!!!!!
I got annoyed the other day when I realized I couldn't use it unless I paired the fan with the battery lol
Well, since it's a business, I guess the concern is, "If people use it for years, won't that hurt our bottom line?" but,
From the user's perspective, it's like, "Don't release products that aren't compatible!"!!!
It's great that there are good products like the Peltier vest, but,
I really wish they'd make the connectors for things like batteries compatible!
If you search on Amazon, you'll find some that are a little cheaper, but it looks like there are also items like the ones listed below.
[New for 2023 & 2 Cooling Plates & Cools Down to -21°C]
It's on sale for 20% off during Amazon's Time Sale, for just under 15,000 yen!
It's a matter of personal preference as to which is better, but should I go with Workman because of the after-sales service?
Should I buy it on Amazon?
Should I just go with cooling, or should I get both cooling and heating?
Which one would you choose?
Looks like I'll be adding another summer item to my collection.
See you later.
