For the past few days, I've been teaching one of the supervisors how to operate the drilling machine.

Since each well drilled using the dewatering boring method is 44 meters deep, we can get plenty of practice with repeated drilling.

This is the best tip for improving your skills as quickly as possible.

Anyway, I just keep repeating the same thing over and over.

It's not about quality or theory—it's about putting in the volume.

 

Do the exact same thing exactly the same way!

Once you're able to do this, it means the quality of your work has improved.

As the quality improves, you start to notice the finer details, which in turn raises the overall quality.

 

In particular, machine operation involves repetitive tasks and requires on-the-job experience.

And even if you don't have much experience, as long as you know how to operate the equipment correctly and respond appropriately, you can actually avoid problems more easily than you might think, and

Accurate execution is extremely important because it improves the reproducibility of the process when problems arise. (Try to follow the instructions as closely as possible; save your own variations for later.)

 

Now all that's left is to do it.

Does it have anything to do with age or motivation? Are you going to do it or not?

I think I've written about this before, but my motivation doesn't kick in until I actually start doing it.

If you don't get started, you'll never get the ball rolling.

I'll do it even if it's hard, and I'll do it even if it's easy. I'll do it even if it seems impossible, and I'll do it even if I don't understand it.

If I think the only option is to just say, “Let’s just do it!” then that’s exactly what I’ll do lol (Is this the army or something?)

When that happens, I start thinking of ways to improve—how can I do this better?

How can I make this work?

That's when I come up with ideas.

That’s just how much potential and possibility human beings have.

 

Tell yourself, “If I try, I can definitely do it!” and just go for it!

If you try it and find that it doesn't suit you or you just can't get into it, then just quit.

If you don't try, you won't even know the answer.

 

At this job site, he'll definitely prove himself as a drilling operator. (For now, anyway.)

Now all of Enta's construction supervisors will be able to operate drilling rigs lol

Since more than half of all employees are capable of operating the equipment, operations won’t come to a halt no matter when anyone takes a day off.

As long as the quality is consistent, it doesn't matter who performs the surgery, right?

We'll be getting more surgeries from now on (though we'll probably just end up passing them off to each other, lol).

In our case, I think it’s fine as long as we can perform the work safely and reliably, whether the drilling is a little early or a little late.
