Hello, everyone.
This is Enta.
The invoice system went into effect today.

If you run a company, this naturally applies to you.
And surprisingly, even office workers might find that their expenses aren’t accepted as business expenses if they aren’t careful.
It's about how to get a receipt.
I imagine large home improvement stores and the like are handling this properly, but,
Small shops and the like might make you go, "Huh?"
The receipt must clearly include all the necessary information.

Apparently, it's called a "qualified simplified receipt."

Be sure to carefully check that the registration number and tax rate classifications are included.
Basically, the reduced tax rate doesn't apply to the equipment and materials we use, so the tax rate is 10%, lol.
The reduced tax rate generally applies to "food and beverages."
Unfortunately, restaurants where we ate and drank during company parties and such aren't eligible, lol.

For more details, visit the National Tax Agency website.
Items Eligible for the Reduced Tax Rate
Be careful, because there’s a chance you might be told that certain expenses won’t be accepted unless you know the rules, or that you’ll have to get a new receipt.
It looks like the confusion will continue for a while, but we'll just have to handle it carefully until we get used to it.
Please be aware that both invoices from subcontractors and invoices to the general contractor will now be classified as qualified invoices!
See you later.
