It's Christmas Eve, isn't it?
The other day, I took part in a local event where we gave out gifts to children.
I've played both Santa and a reindeer in the past. Santa, in particular, is an unbearably hot role to play, lol.
This volunteer project is pretty tough, but I like the sense of accomplishment I get when I finish it at the end of the year.
Seeing the children's happy faces really makes me happy.
After that, the drinks just kept flowing lol
Did you guys get any presents? lol
But that's beside the point.
The other day at work, I was making preparations before heading out to the job site.
Then, I saw an employee washing a 4-metric-ton truck that was covered in dirt.
Get your car sparkling clean with a wax wash.
I really appreciate this kind of thoughtfulness from our employees.
Even if you're paying for something you've borrowed, use it carefully and return it in good condition.
You absolutely must not think that just because it's a leased item, it's okay to be careless.
If you borrow something, return it—and make sure it’s in good condition.
Our company also rents out machinery.
Sometimes they come back all beat up after that.
They were so covered in mud that you'd go, "Whoa!"—and they didn't even clean up.
Would you want to rent to someone in a place like that next time?
If we rent it out, the lease fee goes up. We’d rather not rent it out if possible. That’s only natural.
And then neither of us feels very good about it, right?
More importantly, I'll return it in better condition than when I borrowed it.
Just this simple step is enough to keep things on good terms and ensure another smooth transaction next time.
There is absolutely no expectation of anything in return.
It's just a matter of cleaning it up and returning it, isn't it?
This kind of thing is important even in field work.
Even in a world where IT and the internet are so essential, Santa still brings presents down the chimney. lol
In the end, it’s the connections between people that really matter.
It's the personal, human connection that matters most.
Next year, I’d like to do my best to make sure I return everything I rent from the rental shop in good condition.
