How do you measure borehole lengths exceeding 30 meters?
People ask me that.
For rebar insertion work, a low-cost scale (Convex)
I'm measuring it directly.
However, when it comes to 40-meter-class anchors and dewatering boreholes, that’s simply not an option.
So, I think most companies use this.
It's Super Yellow.
I think a lot of people in our industry (the anchor industry) call it the "Yellow Line."
Well, either is fine, but the official name is Super Yellow.
If you use this, it’s pretty easy to insert it up to about 100 meters. (φ6.5 mm)
It’s a bit of a challenge when it comes to dewatering drilling, though. (It’s hard to drill upward due to water resistance and other factors.)
The price is actually pretty high. It's a pretty expensive product, isn't it?
I’d like to have about 50 meters—which is roughly the length I usually use—but it costs nearly 50,000 yen!
It's something that doesn't break or get damaged easily, but it's still expensive!
