Recently, we have been working on measures to address the steep slope, slightly away from the ground anchors, and,

They use the "Unit Net" construction method there.

Simply put, it’s a construction method in which the heads of rebar inserts are connected using wire or similar materials.

Since every company has its own methods, I can't really say which one is best, but aren't they all pretty much the same? lol

However, since we haven't received the design calculations from the manufacturer, we don't know the specific design details.

This construction project has been ongoing since last year, but there are some parts that just make me go, “Huh???”

I wanted to know that, so I looked at the design calculations, lol

I find it a bit odd that the government agency doesn't have this information to begin with, and that the materials manufacturer does, but oh well, let's just leave it at that.

But since it's the same construction project as last year, I'm kind of wondering why they're calling it the same type of work (materials).

Of course, there are almost no benefits in terms of materials (since this is my first trade), so it’s not really that interesting for us, lol.

Well, it's fine, I guess.

I know the worst-case scenario would be a design change, but I’d like to stick with the current design as much as possible. (It’s a hassle, after all.)

However, we also need the cooperation of the materials manufacturers, so we want to maintain a good relationship with them.

Ideally, we’d like to proceed as is without making any design changes, but if you’re not willing to cooperate at all, we’ll have no choice but to make those changes.

I didn't have time this time, so I'll leave it as is.

As for what will happen next time, as long as there isn't any collusion between the government agency and the materials manufacturer (in this day and age?), we should be able to make the design changes smoothly, and

If a former government official is working at that company, it creates some weird pressure, lol (scary).

The construction industry would like to operate transparently, but there are all sorts of issues on both the government and contractor sides...

Small-time operators like us would get blown away, so we’d like to ride the coattails of the big players, lol.

Well, since this project involves a rather interesting experiment, I hope to be able to share it with you all sometime soon.

I think it's interesting because they're drilling holes with something I've never seen before.

That said, we're starting to drill today, so whether it'll go well is another story, lol.

My eyes are getting tired from drawing everything from the slope development plan to the concrete placement plan, but let's keep pushing through today!
