Quotation Software Updated | Operational Improvements at Slope Construction Company

Hello, everyone

This is Enta.

Gaia10

My 5-year lease on the GAIA9 has ended, and the next 5 years have begun lol

GAIA10 has been implemented.

I think it's been a while since version 10 was released, but we're finally updating it.

Back in the day, I used to do cost estimates using Excel, but these days it’s impossible without cost estimation software!

We use the Aichi and Shizuoka prefectural editions, plus the regional edition. (The price is about 1.7 million.)

For other prefectures, we export the data to Excel, adjust the unit prices for each prefecture, and then use it.

If the number of jobs in Gifu and Mie increases over time, we’ll be able to expand our operations in those areas as well.

For now, just two prefectures are enough.

Cost Estimation Standards

I previously reposted an article about cost estimation on the Kamino Blog.

What Is Cost Estimation? Let’s Learn About the Purpose of Cost Estimation (From the Kamino Blog)

By understanding the government agency’s unit prices and the scope of work specified by the general contractor, you can prepare a more accurate estimate.

To secure work with even slightly higher rates, it’s important to know the rates charged by government agencies and general contractors.

Cost estimation today is much simpler than it used to be.

I recommend doing as much cost estimation as possible.

It's a little pricey, but with quantity surveying software, you can get it done in a snap, right?

See you later
