Hello, everyone.
This is Enta.
The other day, I went to a major company for a meeting.
What they said to me then, for the first time, was kind of funny.
"Give me a reader discount!"
It was just a comment about the estimate, but it made me pause for a second lol.
A reader discount, huh~
I hope I can come up with something fun... lol

I guess the problem is that even with the discount, there's no benefit for me, right?? lol
But that's beside the point.
Tips for Securing a Contractor When You're Busy
Hurry up and get in here! When can you start??
People often say that.
It's the same every year, lol
It’s really nice of them, but the same thing happens every time.
That is,
I haven't ordered the materials yet.

If you don't have the materials, there's nothing you can do even if you go in.
This goes without saying, but the more urgent the situation on site, the more...
It's better to look for a contractor once you have the materials ready. That's it.
That's because even contractors have some gaps between jobs, to a certain extent!
Slip it right into that gap.
Once you're in, they're pretty flexible.
"I'm running a little late for the next job site..." lol
Contractors want to fill in any gaps and hand over the site as soon as possible—even if it’s just one day! It’s better to avoid any delays!
However, site supervisors tend to want to bring in materials as soon as the contractor arrives, or after the contractor has already started work.
I felt the same way. It’s like, “Why are we just bringing in materials when no one’s even there?”… and it just seems like a hassle, lol.
That's what I was thinking.
During this time of year, you often can’t secure materials unless you place an order and wait for the supplier to deliver them.
However, there is one thingThere are drawbacksThat's right!
If the materials are already on site, the general contractor puts pressure on us to get the work done quickly!

And then, excuses like, “The lead time for the materials is too long, so I can’t get them in~,” won’t fly anymore.
Ideally, it would be best to have a system in place where materials can be shipped at any time, or to keep them in stock at our own warehouse, lol.
See you later.
P.S.
Speaking of next year, Shioda Development still has openings, right? How about we talk business?
I'll think about a reader discount lol. Thanks in advance.

As for the benefits… that conversation we had back then ended up being material for a whole blog post, didn't it? lol
Whoa~~~~ lol
Scary, scary lol
