This is because, starting this past April, alcohol testing became mandatory as part of our company’s efforts to strengthen measures to eliminate drunk driving.

With everything being so thoroughly monitored these days, it seems like the era when all odometer readings are sent to the cloud is just around the corner...
It looks like employees at major companies, in particular, are going to be even more of a pain.
But if the company has to buy breathalyzers for everyone, that would cost quite a bit, wouldn't it?
I've heard that some companies require employees to check in at the start of their shift (when they leave home) and at the end.
I don't know what'll happen from here on out, but it looks like I'll end up letting out a big "Haah~" whenever I get to the field office.
