The Theft of 55.51 TP3T | The Reality of Losses in the Construction Industry

Hello, everyone.

This is Enta.

Something terrible happened in Kagoshima!!

Someone ransacked the construction site office!!

Right in the middle of this super-busy end-of-the-fiscal-year period, a burglar!?

It really is the worst, isn't it?

Thief

And here's the thing! Um,A Hero in Kagoshima Prefecture's Slope Construction Industryis said to be,

This is the site office of that super-capable site supervisor!

It seems that this time of year is particularly prone to office break-ins in the construction industry.

That's because we keep all sorts of things at the construction site office, and thieves know that.

But if you were there, what would you steal from a construction site office where all sorts of things are supposed to be stored?

For example, if it were me, I’d probably bring a microwave or an electric kettle—I’d mostly bring household appliances.

Well, since modern computers come with passwords and other risks, I won't bring mine. (There's a chance I could be traced through remote access.)

Bring products that are easy to sellI suppose so.

Besides, since most of the appliances on site are leased, it probably doesn't really affect the site that much, right?

If it's stolen, the leasing company will get insurance coverage, so it shouldn't be a problem, right? (Although the paperwork will probably be a hassle.)

So, regarding the items that were stolen this time...

It's the kind of item that makes you wonder, "Should I call the police over this?"—it's just that frustrating to have it stolen.

The thief didn't even stop to think about whether the items would be easy or hard to sell!

The criteria for determining what constitutes theft are,I chose whether it was gentle or not based on the softness of the touchI think that might be the case.

He's so kind, even though he stole it!

The thief goes into a private room that no one else can enter and locks the door.

I feel a sense of warmth from the items I stole in that space.

It must be so frustrating for the person who got robbed—just thinking about it is enough to make you angry, isn't it?!

To think that a thief could be so kind!

Thief

Toilet paper!!

I heard that 5 out of 9 were stolen.

Toilet paper is usually sold in packs of about 12 rolls, I think, but

For a pack of 12 rolls, the price ranges from as low as 250 yen to as high as about 800 yen.

20 to 67 yen per piece

The amount of damage this time: 100 to 335 yen!

To give you a rough idea, these 12 rolls appear to be about 25 to 45 meters long each.

Intuitively speaking, the shorter the "m" number, the softer the fabric feels and the thicker (and higher-quality) it is.

335 yen per roll ÷ 25 m = 13.4 yen per meter

100 yen per roll ÷ 45 m = 2.3 yen per meter

The unit price per meter for this incident ranges from 2.3 yen/m to 13.4 yen/m!

Shortest length: 25 m × 5 rolls = 125 m; Longest length: 45 m × 5 rolls = 225 m

The damage range this time is 125m to 225m!

Apparently, the average daily consumption of toilet paper is about 8 meters.(Japan Toilet Association (General Incorporated Association))

125 m ÷ 8 m/day = 15.6 days – 225 m ÷ 8 m/day = 28.1 days

This also means I was deprived of the number of times I went to the bathroom (for a number two) from June 15 to January 28. (Assuming once a day)

Number of bowel movements during this episode: 15.6 to 28.1!

It is said that the average amount of stool per bowel movement is 200 to 300 grams. Let's take the average of that and say 250 grams.

15.6 times × 250 g = 3.90 kg

28.1 times × 250 g = 7.025 kg

The total weight of the affected feces this time: 3.9 kg to 7.025 kg!

Somehow, I've started to not care anymore...

Why was I spending so much time calculating this and looking it up online?

Will Mr. M, the legendary victim, eventually come to be known as the "God of the Restroom" or something like that?

Or maybe he’ll be called “the guy who got 5 out of 9 (55.5%)”?

This is totally pointless, but luckily it's Sunday, so maybe not many people are reading pointless posts like this? lol

In connection with the break-in at the construction site office,The Legend of the 5 Rolls of Toilet PaperIsn't that right!?

This is way too funny!!

However, since this is a crime, I’d like to see it properly investigated, but,

Just for the sake of argument, if I were caught, how many out of the five would they return to me?? lol

I don't really care anymore, lol

See you later.
