It’s natural to feel a little hesitant when you’re taking on your first construction project or managing one, isn’t it?

 

But it's okay!

If you prepare thoroughly, you'll realize it's no big deal.

Why am I anxious?

It's because I don't know the answer.

It's because I don't know that "Oh, so that's all there is to it" that I get anxious.

 

So let's get ready for it!

The preparations for that are as follows:

1. Specialized Books

2. Construction plans prepared by senior colleagues or supervisors

3. Photos taken by seniors or supervisors

4. Finalized documents prepared by senior colleagues or supervisors

5. Specifications, Special Specifications, Standard Values

Let's take a close look at them.

There will definitely be discrepancies compared to the actual site.

There’s always a gap between what we plan on paper and what actually happens on the ground.

Presumably, craftsmen have always done it this way, and it’s either impossible to do it the way it’s shown in the book, or it would take too much time.

I think we'll come up with an answer of our own.

Please work out the details in consultation with your senior colleagues and supervisors.

 

I think the work on-site will proceed without any problems, since the workers are doing their jobs reasonably well.

All that's left is for the manager to coordinate things effectively and provide instructions to ensure construction proceeds according to the plans.

 

Even with a new type of work, it's not really a big deal.

That is, as long as you're well prepared, lol.

If you keep all of the above firmly in mind, there won't be any types of work that scare you anymore!

The more experience you gain, the more skilled you become, so everything on site will go exactly as you plan.
