Lately, I've been digging holes with a rotary percussion drill lol
The thing is, I’m just doing the usual ground anchor work, but since I’m managing the project while actually doing the work, I’m swamped, drenched in sweat, and it’s really tough, lol.
So, I've been using earplugs for a long time, but I always seem to lose them.
These are that type of earplugs.
I used to buy these in bulk and just throw them away.
The price per use is about 35 yen per set.
Since the product above comes in a pack of 30 sets.
It's a good value, isn't it?
And above all, I really like that you can just hand it over to someone who doesn't have one.
Maybe I'll swap it out for a real exhaust this time!?
The thing is, one of our employees saw one of these being handed out at a general contractor’s construction site and just thought it looked kind of cool...

So, I went ahead and bought some earmuffs.
It's super convenient because it's so easy to attach to your helmet!
I went with a pretty bright orange! (Just one color, lol)
In terms of how they feel when wearing them, they seem to shift slightly away from my ears when I turn my head to the side, creating a small gap that changes the sound.
I think the sound insulation is good enough. It feels a little heavy, but I guess I'll just have to live with that lol.
If you demand too much performance, the device will become both more expensive and heavier.
This level might be just right for construction work.
It seems like you can get one for a reasonable price that fits just about any helmet.
Plus, you can easily lift it up, spread it out, or rotate it.
When you're in a noisy environment, it's definitely better to wear earplugs or ear muffs like these to protect your ears.
I highly recommend it.
Then there's durability.
I'll be sure to let you know how things turn out later.
By the way, please note that the types that can be attached to helmets are actually quite limited!
