A guy who can handle a rope with ease is so cool!

Hello, everyone.

This is Enta.

Rope Work

Everyone at our company was quietly going about their work.

As for what they were doing, our senior staff member was teaching a younger employee how to braid a rope.

Rope Work

Rope work is one of those skills that’s surprisingly useful to know.

In particular, when you cut a rope, whether you secure it by wrapping it with vinyl tape or braiding it makes a huge difference in strength.

The basis of rope work is friction.

The friction between the fibers maintains a tight fit.

But honestly, the logic behind it doesn't really matter—after all, being able to braid the ends of a rope is just so cool!

Rope Work: Finishing the Ends

A guy who knows how to use a rope is really cool!

For slope workers, it goes without saying that they must be able to tie a “moiai knot” and a “maki knot.”

Besides that, you use it when securing things with a “vice knot,” right?

If you can pull this off, it just looks so cool!! lol

These skills, in particular, are very useful in your personal life, so I recommend checking out YouTube and other resources to learn more.

There are bound to be a few occasions in life when you'll need to use a rope. (Unless you're in a specialized line of work, lol.)

That's when knowing how to work with ropes comes in very handy.

Rope work is something you can easily learn with just a little practice, so I highly recommend it.

Above all, it's just so cool! lol

See you later.
