This is just my personal opinion, but I think managers, such as on-site supervisors, should be sensitive.
Since sensitive people are able to pick up on various cues from their surroundings at an early stage,
In fact, I believe it may even be helping to prevent serious accidents before they happen.
You might think I'm being silly, but that's exactly what it means when there haven't been any accidents.
Since no accident has occurred, I can only say that it hasn't happened.
It’s hard to pinpoint exactly what factors are preventing accidents from happening—it’s all a bit vague, isn’t it?
But it’s not just a coincidence, you know.
It’s precisely because that director has noticed something and is doing something about it that nothing is happening.
This means that simply calling out to someone at the very moment an accident seems about to happen—even without realizing it—might be enough to prevent the accident.
We can verify what actually happened, but since it didn't happen, we can't verify it lol (just a guess?)
It’s better if accidents don’t happen, after all!
I'm wondering if a perceptive director might be able to read that.
It's precisely because it's sensitive that it contains so much information!
I actually think many competent site supervisors are quite perceptive.
That said, there are some minor details, though lol
After all, to prevent unsafe situations before they happen, it’s best to be able to keenly sense the atmosphere on the job site each day, isn’t it?
How do I go about doing that?
There's a way to do this that's surprisingly easy, and once you get the hang of it, you can do it without even thinking about it.
It involves checking the situation on site first thing in the morning (and again at the end of the workday), seeing which craftsmen will be working alongside you that day, and saying hello to them.
And then I start to doubt it, lol
When every day is the same, people stop asking questions.
Actually, even though every day is different, I end up thinking they're all the same.
By questioning the idea that every day is the same, you might just be able to sense something.
"This person seems less energetic than yesterday, doesn't he? Is this rope the same as yesterday's? Has it been removed?"
Is the clamp on the handrail loose?
Is the wire broken? Are there any warning lights?
If you approach your daily work with a critical eye, information will just pour in!
And by prioritizing these issues and providing guidance accordingly, we can prevent certain problems before they occur, or
You can stay one step ahead and get your work done efficiently.
Information isn't just text and data.
Information that we sense with our bodies and through our skin is also extremely important in the field.
