The largest part of the coupling fits snugly inside.

Since it's a 3-inch or 3.5-inch suction hose, it's quite sturdy.

The left and right hose wires are also connected by the center wire, so they are designed to stay in place even if they snap and come loose.

Of course, there won't be any mortar splatter either.

The metal band has also been sanded down to ensure there are no rough edges.

 

Since this is just a prototype, I don't even know the product name or anything like that.

Wire Materials + Processing = Starting at 3,000 yen

Considering the cost of materials and the effort involved in assembly, I guess that's about right.
