External instructors often “know only the theory and have no hands-on experience in the field.” Director Jou of Hyogo Civil Engineering Support is a civil engineer with practical experience working on road, erosion control, and river projects. Since he teaches based on in-house experience with TLS surveying, point cloud processing, and as-built documentation, participants can hit the ground running as soon as they return to their job sites. The company has independently developed two tools—"Specification Value Pocket," which checks as-built specification values, and "Control Point Navigator," which locates control points—both of which are available on the App Store. He explains these topics from the perspective of a developer, not just a user.

In July 2026, I spoke at a prefectural seminar on “ICT and AI Applications” for the private sector. With 67 participants, the seminar received the highest ratings to date: 4.49 for “satisfaction with objectives” and 4.66 for “clarity of explanation” (both out of 5). We also have seminars scheduled in the same prefecture: one for all prefectural employees (August) and an intermediate-level training course on 3D surveying (October). In addition, I conduct annual contract training for a construction company in Kyushu (12 sessions, once a month); co-hosted study sessions for construction and infrastructure companies in Mie Prefecture; training programs for young engineers (3 sessions total); CPDS-certified engineer training courses (6 sessions total); and even Construction DX classes at prefectural high schools. We serve clients nationwide, including Honshu, Kyushu, and Shikoku, and can also conduct standalone online sessions.
