I think you're using a cord reel.

Are you using it correctly?

First of all, are you using the outdoor model?

We're gradually switching to outdoor use as much as possible.

Since I can't just throw them away, I buy ones that are meant for outdoor use.

Everything's supposed to change eventually, lol.

 

That said, it’s really just that the connector has been replaced with a waterproof one, though.

But since the plug on the Thunder and similar devices isn't waterproof, it's completely pointless...

It makes me wonder what this contradiction is all about, lol.

 

There’s something you absolutely must keep in mind when using this cord reel.

As you can see in the photo,

"Using 5A (500W) or more while the cord is coiled may cause the wires to burn."

This is it!

 

If used while still rolled up, it becomes extremely dangerous!

When the copper wire is coiled, electrical resistance is generated, causing it to heat up. And then it catches fire!

Since this is a common problem, be sure to stretch the tire out even when using a thick one!

Furthermore, extending it will restore the storage capacity to normal.

Or rather, I've heard that winding it reduces the amount used to less than half.

 

That means the cord reel could catch fire and burn up—rendering it unusable—even with low power consumption!

 

It's true that straightening all of it does seem like a hassle, but it takes less than two minutes to straighten and curl it.

Would you really burn an expensive cord reel just for something that took only about two minutes?

 

It's just a small thing.

Be sure to fully extend the cord reel and use one designed for outdoor use!
