I'm in the middle of installing temporary anchors, and it's proving to be quite a struggle lol.<\/p>\n

The subgrade is a layer of sand, but there\u2019s some really good river gravel mixed in there lol<\/p>\n
The river gravel has a pretty uniform grain size\u2014it looks so good you\u2019d think it would sell\u2014but it keeps getting stuck in the swivel, lol.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s a layer of river gravel about 2 meters thick, and below that, a layer of sand extends into the casing.<\/p>\n

Apparently, they supply generators to our general contractor, so they came to the job site to introduce themselves.<\/p>\n

There was no general contractor on site at that time, and while I was manning the operator console, I watched as they spoke with Mr. I, a former employee of our company who used to work for a major firm.<\/p>\n

Mr. I is wearing a work jacket. That's because he works at a plant, lol.<\/p>\n
But I used to work for a major company, lol.<\/p>\n
What I'm trying to say is,<\/p>\n
Since he said he\u2019d never been spoken to rudely by a leasing company salesperson back when he was an employee at a major corporation,<\/p>\n
Apparently, he was being a bit cocky this time, lol.<\/p>\n

So people really do judge by appearances, huh? Oh well. It is a jacket, after all. lol<\/p>\n
However, the point is that you should be especially careful around construction sites.<\/p>\n
After all, there are actually quite a few bigwigs out there who wear those jackets to work, aren't there?<\/p>\n
I don't know if wearing a work uniform makes you look important or not, lol.<\/p>\n

But the biggest issue is: Are they in a position of authority, or not? Do they have the authority to make decisions, or not?<\/p>\n
So, I'm currently making that judgment and doing my job in a rather arrogant manner.<\/p>\n
People who say things like that never make any sales. They\u2019re just buttering people up to get by\u2014they\u2019re fakes.<\/p>\n
Regardless of whether the other person is in a position of authority or not, people who are dedicated to their work will find ways to get the job done no matter where they are.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s a tip for salespeople at material suppliers and leasing companies.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s a good idea to win over the hearts of the foremen and other skilled workers on site, don\u2019t you think?!<\/p>\n
Even the director asks the craftsmen things like, \u201cWhich materials are best?\u201d or \u201cWhich machines are best?\u201d<\/p>\n
And there are hardly any salespeople who can chat casually with craftsmen like that.<\/p>\n
The point is that the director isn't the only one we're doing business with.<\/p>\n
After all, a construction site consists of the client, the site supervisor, and the workers.<\/p>\n
