The temperature drops to 0 degrees at night (below freezing).<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The coming season is going to be crazy.<\/p>\n<p>During the winter, there are definitely areas where freezing causes cracks to form.<\/p>\n<p>That's because as long as there are no cracks in the newly applied mortar, there's no problem. It\u2019s possible that those cracks were caused by freezing.<\/p>\n<p>No one can see what's possible, lol<\/p>\n<p>Freeze-thaw cycles also play a role in weathering in nature.<\/p>\n<p>In nature, freezing causes boulders of that size to shatter. (How many tens of thousands of years does it take for them to shatter?)<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s just how destructive freezing can be.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I often do this<strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Measures to Prevent Freezing<\/span><\/strong>There is.<\/p>\n<p>1. Use hot water.<span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/norimen.net\/en\/wordpress\/2017\/11\/07\/4968\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">With hot water<\/a><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>2. Use fast-setting cement.<\/p>\n<p>3. Use antifreeze.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Among these,<span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Options 1 and 2 are valid.<\/span><\/strong><\/span>That's it.<\/p>\n<p>1. It is necessary to use hot water to increase the initial setting rate and the initial strength.<\/p>\n<p>Raising it significantly at the initial stage prevents freezing.<\/p>\n<p>2. Using fast-setting cement increases the heat of hydration, which helps prevent freezing. It also increases early strength, and<\/p>\n<p>The curing speed also increases.<\/p>\n<p>3. I don't recommend this.
