It's a beautiful, sunny day in Hokkaido.<\/p>\n
I've been wrestling with this drill since last week, lol.<\/p>\n
A pretty old Mitsubishi 230.<\/p>\n
Man, it's so hard to use. It's unbearable. Plus, the nuts come loose all over the place.<\/p>\n
I hardly ever do dry runs, you know? Yet it still comes loose.<\/p>\n
I guess I'll have to check the nuts every day, huh? lol<\/p>\n
Also, check the oil.<\/p>\n

It's tough when you switch to a different model. Especially for someone like me, who's barely more than a beginner.<\/p>\n
That said, I\u2019m actually a little better at it today than I was the other day, right? lol<\/p>\n
Tomorrow will be better than today. I\u2019ll keep getting better, little by little.<\/p>\n
Even skilled craftsmen start out as complete beginners.<\/p>\n
If you keep working day in and day out, you\u2019ll become a pro before you know it, but craftsmen with a different level of dedication will reach even greater heights.<\/p>\n
A craftsman of that caliber is called a \"master craftsman.\" Or maybe a \"foreman\"?<\/p>\n
If you keep at it steadily every day, you\u2019ll end up going places you never imagined, but if you slack off even once, you\u2019ll have to start all over again.<\/p>\n
Well, it\u2019s not really a do-over, but mentally, it feels like one, lol (I can lie to myself so easily, lol).<\/p>\n

I write on my blog every day, too, but I can't stop doing this either... lol<\/p>\n
You can't get to amazing places all at once. You can only get there slowly, step by step.<\/p>\n
It's just like trust or credibility. You can only build them up one at a time. (I've been there, lol.)<\/p>\n
If you let someone down even once, it takes a long time to make up for it. (It might even be impossible to make up for it.)<\/p>\n
The climb is slow, but the descent is over in an instant.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n A little bit every day. That's the quickest way to get there.<\/p>\n So I've been taking it one step at a time, too. I've been doing that steadily for the past 10 years.<\/p>\n I'll keep working hard and staying true to myself for the next 10 years, lol.<\/p>\n Lately, I've been working hard, step by step, on operating the rotary percussion machine!<\/p>\n Since I started out as a site supervisor, the hands-on work is really tough.<\/p>\n Plus, at our current job site, three site supervisors are drilling anchor holes lol<\/p>\n <\/p>\n So, what happens when three site supervisors work on a project? Since all three are constantly keeping an eye on the big picture, their movements are fluid!<\/p>\n All three of us are capable of performing the surgery for now, so whoever is available at the time will do the surgery and assist.<\/p>\n All three of them are pros at photo management, so they just write on the blackboard and wrap it up in a flash, lol.<\/p>\n Anyone can answer the general contractor's questions. They can tell you exactly where in which book the information is found.<\/p>\n That was one of the advantages.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n However, since Demilitt isn't a professional craftsman, his work is a bit slow.<\/p>\n A pro would dig four holes, but I can only manage three. (Maybe I\u2019m being a bit too critical since I\u2019m the director...)<\/p>\n That one-unit difference is huge. Since all three of us know how to do the math, the conversation immediately turns to commission, lol.<\/p>\n That's kind of interesting.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n I'm working with the mindset that I'll have improved quite a bit by the time this project is finished, so I'm sure that will be the case.<\/p>\n I keep an eye on the gauges, too, while imagining how professional craftsmen used to do it.<\/p>\n I'm keeping my head up, staying focused, and working at it steadily.<\/p>\n Nothing beats steady, consistent effort, right?<\/p>\n <\/p>\n A commonly used mathematical expression representing steady, incremental progress<\/p>\n This is purely a matter of numbers, but it does show that there\u2019s a significant difference.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n This post is a bit of a ramble and has absolutely nothing to do with the construction work, but I just wanted to share that I realized how important it is to keep at it, little by little.<\/p>\n Are you all working away at it little by little, too?<\/p>\n <\/p>\n See you later.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Hello, everyone.
