The nozzle we worked on the other day!<\/p>\n
For those who aren't familiar with the term \"nozzle.\"<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
This is the person. This is the job known as \"Nozleman.\"<\/p>\n
The \"Nozzle Man\" among slope engineers.<\/p>\n
He's called \"Nozzle Man\" because he has a nozzle at the tip that dispenses mortar and other materials.<\/p>\n
There's something that looks like a nozzle at the tip of my hand.<\/p>\n
From there, we'll remove the mortar and concrete.<\/p>\n

I did that the other day. Come to think of it, it had been 18 years since I last played Nozzle Man.<\/p>\n
Man, this is seriously tough!<\/p>\n
Because I don't usually do that.<\/p>\n
And my shoulders turned bright red lol. There was no way my arm strength could match someone who does this regularly, so I just kept it on my shoulders the whole time.<\/p>\n
And I'm pretty battered up\u2014I'm so embarrassed...<\/p>\n

Professionals really are amazing! We call ourselves \u201cslope contractors,\u201d but it\u2019s all thanks to the people who actually do the work!<\/p>\n
Thanks to these people, Japan's slopes are being preserved.<\/p>\n
I really think civil engineering workers deserve more respect.<\/p>\n
The old image was just too bad...<\/p>\n

I really hate it when people call me \"Dokata,\" \"Dokachin,\" or things like that. I mean, I really do.<\/p>\n
I just think, \u201cYou say that, but you couldn\u2019t do it yourself, could you?\u201d<\/p>\n
Since it's a dirty and dangerous job, the pay has been going up and up lately, right? (Though the labor shortage has something to do with it, lol.)<\/p>\n
People like Hijikata and Dokachin look down on us even though they can't even imitate us.<\/p>\n
