Hello, everyone.<\/p>\n

This is Enta.<\/p>\n

I was in Vietnam just the other day, and I got back to Chubu Centrair International Airport first thing this morning.<\/p>\n

I had a great time in Vietnam!<\/p>\n

We went to diners that only locals would eat at and tried snacks from street stalls.<\/p>\n

I was the kind of person who would eat fruit with flies on it\u2014I was pretty much up for anything (lol).<\/p>\n

\"A<\/p>\n

\n

But that's beside the point.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Actually, everything will be decided based on this exam and interview,Deliver results within one day<\/span><\/strong>Apparently, it's necessary.<\/p>\n

Although this is quite rare in Japan, they decide on the exam, interview, and hiring within a few hours.<\/p>\n

What's more, I hear they're taking the exam using scaffolding they only started assembling three days ago\u2014the very same scaffolding they put up just the other day.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Basically, a Vietnamese recruitment agency recruits people who want to go to Japan.<\/p>\n

They refer children to us who have studied at least a basic level of Japanese and are motivated.<\/p>\n

Naturally, they assess memory, math skills, and physical abilities. (There\u2019s a test.)<\/p>\n

In that sense, they really are an elite group.<\/p>\n

So, when you get hired like this time, you end up in a photo with a huge smile on your face, just like this.<\/p>\n

It makes me so happy to see them so delighted!<\/p>\n

However, on the flip side, since 8 out of 12 will be eliminated, it\u2019s heartbreaking.<\/p>\n

I can't help but think, \"If you all want to come that badly, then come on over!\"<\/p>\n

You can really tell how hard they tried. The disappointment on the faces of the kids who didn't make it is off the charts!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

It feels like some unscrupulous Japanese people are exploiting them as a cheap labor force just because they can.<\/p>\n

Most Japanese people are good, but there are some bad ones.<\/p>\n

If things continue this way, there\u2019s a possibility that fewer children will come to Japan in the future.<\/p>\n

I hope it doesn't come to that.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

And once they were hired, they earned roughlyPay between 500,000 and 700,000 to enroll in a language school<\/span><\/strong><\/span>That means...<\/p>\n

The average monthly income in Vietnam ranges from around 30,000 to 50,000 yen in urban areas.<\/p>\n

It seems to be around 10,000 to 20,000 yen in rural areas.<\/p>\n

Since most of them come from rural areas, they borrow money from relatives or banks to pay for school.<\/p>\n

Even if it means taking that much of a risk,I'm filled with the desire to go to Japan and make money<\/strong><\/span>What?!<\/p>\n

Their enthusiasm really is something else, isn't it?<\/p>\n

That desire to be even a little bit wealthier!<\/p>\n

When they come to Japan, the minimum wage in the construction industry is usually theirI'm looking for a take-home pay of 120,000 yen or more<\/span><\/strong><\/span>(Aichi Prefecture).<\/p>\n

When you factor in overtime pay and other bonuses, it seems to come to around 150,000 yen.<\/p>\n

I hear there are plenty of companies that pay even less than that, but I have no idea if they're good or bad companies lol<\/p>\n

Personally, I\u2019d like to see my salary increase as I become more capable at my job.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The four people who were selected this time will now enroll in a language school and spend the next six months studying Japanese and other subjects,<\/p>\n

I'll be moving into the union's training facility in Nagoya next February.<\/p>\n

So, he will undergo a one-month training program in Japan and then join our company in March.<\/p>\n

The bar is set pretty high for them. After all, Japanese is considered one of the most difficult languages in the world.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

It takes quite a while from the hiring process to actually starting the job.<\/p>\n

In addition, after hiring, you will be required to pay the union approximately 30,000 to 40,000 yen per person.<\/p>\n

If you average out the costs over the three years from recruitment to starting work, the total cost (including travel expenses, etc.) comes to roughly 250,000 yen.<\/p>\n

That comes out to about 3 million per year.<\/p>\n

It's not that cheap. That said, even if Japanese people hope that applicants will come through Hello Work, they almost never do, so,<\/p>\n

If you're looking for certainty, there are definitely benefits to this.<\/p>\n
