This is Enta.<\/p>\n
I've been in Vietnam (Hanoi) for a few days now, and man, it's just so hot...<\/p>\n
40 degrees...<\/p>\n
That said, it\u2019s actually a pretty dry kind of heat.<\/p>\n
The heat here isn't much different from that of a Japanese summer, but compared to Japan during the rainy season, it's more comfortable here.<\/p>\n

I'm flying to Vietnam on Vietnam Airlines from Chubu Centrair International Airport.<\/p>\n
There seem to be about two flights a day to Vietnam, and the flight from Nagoya takes about 4 hours and 50 minutes.<\/p>\n
There's quite a bit of it. I'll have to drink some alcohol or go to sleep\u2014otherwise, I won't be able to kill time. lol<\/p>\n
It's fine if you have physical books, but since they take up space, I recommend e-books.<\/p>\n

So, I went to the Japanese language school that was the main focus of this trip.<\/p>\n

I hear he'll be studying Japanese here for about half a year.<\/p>\n
The discipline here is incredibly strict\u2014and this is just my personal opinion, but it has that same weird vibe as the old Kagoshima Commercial High School, lol.<\/p>\n
That\u2019s because at Kagoshima Jitsugyo High School\u2014which is also my alma mater\u2014every time I see a teacher or a visitor, I say \u201cHello!\u201d and bow.<\/p>\n
That was common knowledge. (I don't know about now, though.)<\/p>\n
It was a discipline that brought that to mind.<\/p>\n
And so earnest!! So pure!!!<\/p>\n
Their innocence, smiles, and earnestness were so touching that I found myself wondering, \u201cAm I just a jaded adult?\u201d<\/p>\n
It was one of those moments when I thought, \"Wow, this is really great!\"<\/p>\n

The class had such a vibrant, lively atmosphere! Everyone was really giving it their all!!<\/p>\n
It was a situation that doesn't exist in Japan today.<\/p>\n

It seems they\u2019ll study basic Japanese, but dialects are completely out of the question.<\/p>\n
Therefore, if you are considering the Technical Intern Training Program for Foreign Nationals, please use Standard Japanese as your reference as much as possible.<\/p>\n

If we believe that foreigners will become the mainstay of the Japanese economy in the future, we can\u2019t afford to look down on them.<\/p>\n
It seems to me that we Japanese need to reach out to people from other countries.<\/p>\n

This is the dormitory. I hear that men and women sleep in separate areas here.<\/p>\n

Apparently, this is how he sleeps.<\/p>\n
In Japan, the typical living arrangement is for about two people to share a 6-tatami-mat room.<\/p>\n
Apparently, if there are any more people than that, complaints about the environment will arise, so please respect a minimum level of privacy.<\/p>\n

I hear they're all going to eat together here.<\/p>\n
It really feels like dorm life. I think this is probably the most fun time of their lives.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
When I think about how they\u2019ve come to Japan to work under such harsh conditions, I just feel like being kind to them.<\/p>\n
For example, when you travel abroad alone, wouldn't you be happy if a stranger treated you kindly?<\/p>\n
It almost made me feel that way. I guess I\u2019m just a softie, lol.<\/p>\n

It seems that, generally speaking, Vietnamese is not allowed at school.<\/p>\n
It seems they're studying everything using kanji and hiragana.<\/p>\n

I hear they offer training in semi-automatic welding and TIG welding.<\/p>\n

I have an interview tomorrow.<\/p>\n
We will interview the candidates selected by the union. It seems the union has a certain threshold, and only the top candidates who meet that standard will advance to the final round of selection.<\/p>\n
For now, I can take the interviews and practical tests required for the job, so I'm going to give them a try.<\/p>\n
