\u201cGuidelines for the Designation of Construction Machinery with Emission Control Measures\u201d<\/strong>(Gradually strengthened since Heisei 3 (1991))<\/li>\n<li><strong>Off-Road Vehicle Act (Act on the Regulation of Emissions from Specified Special Motor Vehicles, etc.)<\/strong>(Enacted in Heisei 18 (2006))<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In public works projects, including those directly managed by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism,<strong>Use of designated construction machinery is mandatory<\/strong>There are many scenes where this is shown, and<\/p>\n<p>You can check the Tourism\u2019s designation system, the Off-Road Vehicle Act (Act on the Regulation of Emissions from Specified Special Motor Vehicles, etc.) has been in effect since 2006.<\/p>\n<p>The relationship between the law and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) notice is as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Off-Road Act<\/strong>: Jointly administered by the Ministry of the Environment, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. The major difference from the first through fourth phases is that,<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Addition of PN Regulations<\/strong>: Conventional PM (particulate matter)<strong>Mass Limits<\/strong>In System\u201d).<\/p>\n<p>The key points are as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Scope<\/strong>: Initially, electric construction machinery (battery-powered and corded)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Future Expansion<\/strong>: Hydrogen (fuel cells, hydrogen engines) and biomass fuels are also being considered<\/li>\n<li><strong>Initial Application<\/strong>: October 17\u2013December 12, Reiwa 5 (2023)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Fiscal Year 2024 Grants<\/strong>: Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Establishes Purchase Subsidy Program for GX-Certified Models in Collaboration with Related Government Agencies<\/li>\n<li><strong>Reference Value<\/strong>: As of 2023, no numerical standards have been established in order to support early adoption, and<strong>Making Energy when buying used equipment:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The third phase and beyond as the minimum standard<\/strong>(This is virtually a sure thing for public works projects)<\/li>\n<li>If possible<strong>It is compatible with the 4th generation (models equipped with urea SCR systems from 2014 onward), but,<\/strong>Personally, I think the third-stage exhaust is plenty lol<\/li>\n<li>If you're buying a new one, I think the manufacturer will be rolling out the fifth-generation update, but,<strong>Machine maintenance costs keep going up!<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>The first and second phases are difficult to use in public, but<strong>Actually, there are a lot of great models, and I personally like them, but I\u2019d still recommend the third-generation
