What do you think the future holds for the slope stabilization industry?<\/p>\n

With fewer jobs and robots everywhere, does it seem like there\u2019s no need for skilled craftsmen anymore?<\/p>\n
Your perspective may vary significantly depending on how many years into the future you're looking, but,<\/p>\n
Personally, I don't think things will change that much over the next 20 to 30 years.<\/p>\n
Judging by the population pyramid, it\u2019s inevitable that the number of young people in their prime working years will decrease while the number of elderly people will increase.<\/p>\n
However, that's not the case with work.<\/p>\n
As the number of people decreases, the workload gradually decreases as well. I understand that, too.<\/p>\n
And the number of artisans is also declining.<\/p>\n
While the amount of work on slopes is decreasing, there should naturally be an increase in new projects involving slope stabilization work.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
People say these days that the number of traditional artisans is declining.<\/p>\n
It has simply been replaced by something new, and artisans with new skills are emerging.<\/p>\n
The same can be said for our slope construction company.<\/p>\n
For the past 40 years or so, slope engineers have been doing essentially the same work and performing the same tasks.<\/p>\n
As far as I know, it's been the same for 20 years. My former boss also said he's been doing the same thing for 40 years.<\/p>\n
It is entirely possible that it has been replaced by a type of slope stabilization method that we cannot even imagine at this stage.<\/p>\n

There's a theory about a 70-year cycle.<\/p>\n
There\u2019s a theory that eras undergo transformation in 70-year cycles\u2014what do you think about that? It\u2019s the idea that history repeats itself.<\/p>\n
I find myself thinking, \u201cMaybe it\u2019s not entirely untrue\u2026\u201d and perhaps the transformation has already begun.<\/p>\n
That transformation is already underway, and before we know it, will we be at the forefront of it\u2014or left behind?<\/p>\n
I think it\u2019s important to keep an eye on various sources and constantly gather and share information.<\/p>\n

And as for the future of the slope construction industry\u2014or rather, the skilled trades industry\u2014<\/p>\n
I,The Age of Artisan Paradise<\/span><\/strong><\/span>I think it's coming!<\/p>\n While it\u2019s inevitable that administrative and managerial positions will be replaced by AI and robots, that won\u2019t happen anytime soon for skilled trades\u2014especially in civil engineering.<\/p>\n It\u2019s not just a matter of skill\u2014it\u2019s so impressive that I find myself wondering if only a master craftsman could do it.<\/p>\n Naturally, AI and robots are increasingly being incorporated into slope stabilization projects. I think that\u2019s a certainty.<\/p>\n However, at this stage, we can\u2019t set up the legal framework using robots, and we can\u2019t drill anchor holes yet either.
