color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Chapman Flask<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>This thing falls over at the slightest thing and breaks so easily!<\/p>\n<p>A while back, when the tip cracked, I kept using it as is until a replacement arrived because the markings were still intact.<\/p>\n<p>I remember that back when I was still working, there was no online shopping, and it took quite a while for items to be delivered.<\/p>\n<p>When I think about it that way, slope stabilization work seems like a job that hasn't progressed at all\u2014we're doing exactly the same things we did 20 years ago...<\/p>\n<p>Mechanization has advanced, but the fundamentals remain the same.<\/p>\n<p>Fujiwara Sangyo carries protective inserts for Chapman flasks.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"FSC Fujiwara Industries\" href=\"http:\/\/www.0666836881.com\/index.php?%E3%83%9E%E3%83%83%E3%83%89%E3%83%90%E3%83%A9%E3%83%B3%E3%82%B9#l0460d49\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff; text-decoration: underline;\">FSC Fujiwara Industries, Inc.<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Next, a measuring cup and a bowl for the sand<\/p>\n<p>A scale with a capacity of about 1 kg is sufficient.<\/p>\n<p>The surface moisture content test uses only 500 grams of sample.<\/p>\n<p>Well, considering the weight of the ball, I think it should be under 1 kg, or maybe around 2 kg.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This method is performed in accordance with JIS A 1111.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff; text-decoration: underline;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff; text-decoration: underline;\" title=\"JIS A 1111\" href=\"http:\/\/kikakurui.com\/a1\/A1111-2015-01.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">JIS A 1111<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>I think most slope contractors use 500 grams of sand and 200 cc of water.<\/p>\n<p>We will use this to conduct a surface moisture content test.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Before we get into what this test is all about, what are mortar and concrete products made of?<\/p>\n<p>When someone says that,<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Mortar = sand, cement, and water<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Concrete = Sand, Gravel, Cement, Water<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>So, it's done, right?<\/p>\n<p>And then, this sand. This is a bit of a digression, but this sand is classified into mountain sand, river sand, and sea sand.<\/p>\n<p>Even though we say they come from the same place\u2014the mountains\u2014there are subtle differences in their composition and the amount of mud mixed in.<\/p>\n<p>In particular, since seawater sand contains salt, it has been washed quite thoroughly.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-6204\" src=\"https:\/\/norimen.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/a252e8b160d3bab53bbe0182ae2abfc4-600x460.jpg\" alt=\"Sand Washing Plant\" width=\"600\" height=\"460\" srcset=\"https:\/\/norimen.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/a252e8b160d3bab53bbe0182ae2abfc4.jpg 600w, https:\/\/norimen.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/a252e8b160d3bab53bbe0182ae2abfc4-300x230.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We use a sprinkler to douse the pile of sand\u2014like the one in the photo\u2014and give it a thorough wash.<\/p>\n<p>Doing so washes away the salt and silt from the sand.<\/p>\n<p>We do the same thing with mountain sand and river sand, adjusting the particle size accordingly.<\/p>\n<p>We at the slope construction company use that washed sand.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>What would happen if you used sand that was soaked through with water like that?<\/p>\n<p>The amount of water added to the mortar and concrete mixtures will increase.<\/p>\n<p>For example, if you were planning to add 30 liters of water, but the sand was extremely saturated with water, the total volume would be more than 30 liters, right?<\/p>\n<p>In the case of mortar, even though the specified mix ratio is cement + sand + water,<\/p>\n<p>Actually,<span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Amount of cement + sand + water contained in the sand + water<\/span><\/strong><\/span>That's how it works.<\/p>\n<p>To restore this to its original formulation,<span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Cement + Sand + Water \u2013 Water contained in the sand<\/span><\/strong><\/span>You need to do this.<\/p>\n<p>That's where<span style=\"font-size: 20px; color: #ff00ff;\"><strong>Surface Moisture Content Test<\/strong><\/span>What?!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>See you later.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hello, everyone.
