(About 20 yen per serving)<\/p>\n<p>This is really delicious, but it makes me so thirsty!!<\/p>\n<p>Getting thirsty in the mountains is the worst lol<\/p>\n<h3>The Character of the Nepalese People<\/h3>\n<p>Apparently, Nepalese people do go to the mountains for fun, and on the day I went, there were high school students there just having a good time.<\/p>\n<p>They're dancing and having fun at the summit lol<\/p>\n<p>By the way, my rating at the top is 2700.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_57602\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-57602\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-57602\" src=\"https:\/\/norimen.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/2025-12-01-16.59.27.jpg\" alt=\"Shibapuri National Park Summit\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-57602\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Shibapuri National Park Summit<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>They were happy when I took their photos, so I took pictures of everyone striking their own poses.<\/p>\n<p>As expected, the site supervisor is really good at taking photos ^^<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_57600\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-57600\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-57600\" src=\"https:\/\/norimen.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/2025-12-01-16.53.36.jpg\" alt=\"Shibapuri National Park Summit\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-57600\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Shibapuri National Park Summit<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Everyone feels free to strike up a conversation with me, and since it\u2019s the first time they\u2019ve ever seen a Japanese person, they\u2019re totally fascinated by me lol<\/p>\n<p>If people get together, why not dance!?<\/p>\n<p>That's the kind of national character\u2014the kind that starts dancing as soon as music starts playing.<\/p>\n<p>(By the way, I\u2019ve received permission to post the photo on social media and other online platforms. I guess only developed countries ask questions like this...)<\/p>\n<p>Apparently, when they see someone who isn't talking, they get worried and ask, \"What's wrong? Are you sick?\" lol<\/p>\n<p>It's the complete opposite of how Japanese people are, isn't it?<\/p>\n<p>That's really great, and it looks like fun lol<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_57601\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-57601\" style=\"width: 375px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-57601\" src=\"https:\/\/norimen.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/2025-12-01-16.56.40.jpg\" alt=\"Shibapuri National Park Summit\" width=\"375\" height=\"500\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-57601\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Shibapuri National Park Summit<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h3>Nepal Underestimates Us<\/h3>\n<p>Then we started our descent, but the two people on either side of me\u2014who, like me, had underestimated the mountain\u2014were already completely exhausted.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-57603 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/norimen.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/2025-12-01-09.07.27.jpg\" alt=\"Nepal Street Stalls\" width=\"600\" height=\"452\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I told him point-blank, \u201cKeep the things you buy (or bring) in the morning to a minimum!\u201d but,<\/p>\n<p>3 L of water + 1.5 L of Sprite + 2 bunches of bananas + 8 tangerines + other snacks<\/p>\n<p>I told them I didn't need that much, but they kept saying, \"It's okay, it's okay,\" and took it anyway.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This was the last time\u2014on the way down the mountain, I had a bunch of bananas, 2 liters of water, and some tangerines in my bag...<\/p>\n<p>They were already feeling pretty rough, so they had no choice but to...<\/p>\n<p>There's no doubt that Nepalese people are underestimating the mountains lol<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Well, anyway, we made our way back down the mountain.<\/p>\n<p>I heard this story while we were coming down the mountain\u2014apparently, this is the first time a Japanese person who came to Nepal (for an internship) has climbed a mountain.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I know some people might take issue with me writing this, but\u2014including Japanese people visiting abroad, as well as Westerners\u2014<\/p>\n<p>It's basically booze and women! lol<\/p>\n<p>Well, I can understand how you feel.<\/p>\n<p>After the interview, it's time for drinks and women! (I hear there's a place like a hostess club.)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Since I don't really enjoy that, I still want to experience the local food and local pastimes, and I want to understand and get to know the locals, even just a little bit.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-57605 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/norimen.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/2025-12-01-11.29.02.jpg\" alt=\"Nepalese Women\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" \/><\/p>\n<p>What kind of lives do the locals lead, and what are their feelings as they come to Japan?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>What can the Japanese teach them?<\/p>\n<p>When I think about that, I just can't bring myself to drink lol<\/p>\n<p>I'm just so excited to get to know the area^^<\/p>\n<p>And since that wouldn't make for good material, I want to do things that will.<\/p>\n<p>Well, I guess it's just a difference in values.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Next time, I'll introduce a hotel that costs 500 rupees (about 550 yen).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>See you later.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hello, everyone.
