This is Enta.<\/p>\n

Lately, on the Enta website, this \"New Enta Slope Management School\" blog, and just the other day, the LINE app.<\/p>\n

There has been a significant increase in unauthorized login attempts to the site.<\/p>\n

Before long, the whole site might get hacked and things could get pretty crazy. lol<\/p>\n

If something weird happens, just assume the account's been hacked lol<\/p>\n

That said, my junior was a victim of a LINE account hijacking last year.<\/p>\n

\"Fear<\/p>\n

That\u2019s the thing where people used to buy WebMoney\u2014which was all the rage for a while\u2014at convenience stores, right?<\/p>\n

A friend's LINE account was hacked, so I decided to mess around with the hacker.<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

But it\u2019s a scary world, isn\u2019t it? It seems to be getting worse every year, so this is no longer just someone else\u2019s problem.<\/p>\n

Please be careful with your own social media accounts and blogs as well.<\/p>\n

If anything happens, call the police right away!<\/p>\n

But that's beside the point.<\/p>\n

How to Make a Packer: Part 2<\/h3>\n

But before that, I received a question regarding Part 1 of the previous post.<\/p>\n

Q: For the \"settling length,\" is the calculated value acceptable? What should we do in the case of compressed types?<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

This is a tough problem, isn't it?<\/p>\n

Personally, I think that when using a packer,Isn't the all-packer design the correct anchor structure?<\/span><\/strong>I think so.<\/p>\n

When using a packer, it is used in cases where cement slurry escapes or leaks.<\/p>\n

Or use this option if you don't want grouting done in other areas.<\/p>\n

I think that's the true spirit of a packer.<\/p>\n

However, the question above raises the point: \u201cAren\u2019t tension-type anchors and compression-type anchors different?\u201d<\/p>\n

For now, let's set aside the possibility that the grout might be leaking.<\/p>\n

\"Putting<\/p>\n

Please consider the structure of a ground anchor.<\/p>\n

In the case of tension anchors, the load is concentrated at the boundary between the anchored section and the free length.<\/p>\n

\"Stress<\/p>\n

That means an enormous compressive force is applied to the cement paste in that area.<\/p>\n

Let's say there's a packer there. The edge is cut off, right?<\/p>\n

Don't you think an all-packer is the way to go, after all? lol<\/p>\n

Even if it\u2019s practically impossible, I think it\u2019s best to have a packer that\u2019s at least 1 meter longer than the embedment length, if possible.<\/p>\n

This is purely a structural issue.<\/p>\n

\"Installation<\/p>\n

I think there are pros and cons to this way of thinking.<\/p>\n

Here's what I actually think about tension anchors.<\/p>\n

However, in actual construction projects, packers are rarely included in the design specifications, and even when design changes are made, the funding allocated is often rather meager.<\/p>\n

Since we don't have enough money to use all-packers\u2014even with ingenuity and corporate efforts\u2014we tend to end up using only the fixing unit.<\/p>\n

According to government-set prices, a standard, genuine packer costs over 5,000 yen per meter, lol.<\/p>\n

I guess the \"real\" part is a bit of a stretch... lol<\/p>\n

Next time, I'll write about compression anchors.<\/p>\n
