If salespeople don't bring in business, we can't put our advanced technical skills to use.<\/p>\n
But without technical skills, the sales team can't land any deals, right?<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Even if the sales team is top-notch and brings in a ton of work, if the technical staff isn't up to par, you won't be able to keep getting work afterward, right?<\/p>\n
Neither one can be missing\u2014they\u2019re both essential.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s no good if the salesperson is rude, after all~<\/p>\n

Many salespeople at major general contractors started out working on construction sites.<\/p>\n
After all, he's a salesperson with technical expertise, so he's unbeatable.<\/p>\n
If you don't know the technical details during a site meeting, the discussion won't go anywhere.<\/p>\n
