If you ask people, \u201cDo you have good judgment?\u201d some will say yes, while others will say they\u2019re indecisive, right? lol<\/p>\n
For example, there are people who go to a restaurant and decide right away, and others who agonize over it for a long time.<\/p>\n
It's the same at work, isn't it?<\/p>\n

To begin with, what is judgment?<\/p>\n
Judgment is,The ability to discern the truth of matters, recognize them correctly, and evaluate them<\/mark>That's it.<\/span><\/p>\n It can also be described as the intellectual ability to make effective decisions when facing a crisis or a difficult situation.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n That's what I've heard.<\/p>\n Sometimes, after making a decision, things end up going in a completely unexpected direction, right?<\/p>\n That's what you'd call a failure.<\/p>\n That's why I can't make a judgment when it comes to beginners or a job I'm doing for the first time.<\/p>\n That's because I don't know what's good and what's bad.<\/p>\n I've never eaten at a restaurant like this before, so I'm not sure which one is good\u2014that's why I'm having a hard time deciding.<\/p>\n I just don't want to mess this up. (I want to eat something delicious.)<\/p>\n However, by failing and gaining experience, you can learn to make judgments.<\/p>\n The same can be said about safety.<\/p>\n It is precisely because they have sound judgment based on experience that they can take actions such as thinking, \u201cThis is dangerous,\u201d or \u201cI should address this now.\u201d<\/p>\n On the other hand, if you lack good judgment, you tend to just leave things as they are, thinking, \u201cIt\u2019ll probably be fine\u201d or \u201cThere haven\u2019t been any problems so far.\u201d<\/p>\n In any situation, choosing to maintain the status quo can sometimes lead to overlooking risks.<\/p>\n For example, accidents involving falls from slopes or falling materials often happen because of a momentary lapse in concentration or a failure to check properly, don't they?<\/p>\n Scaffolding handrails that have come loose, ropes that are slack, or temporarily stored materials that are unstable.<\/p>\n If you look closely, those \u201cwarning signs\u201d are often visible at the scene.<\/p>\n Not overlooking that, thoroughly inspecting it, and taking corrective action by saying, \u201cThis is dangerous as is, so let\u2019s fix it,\u201d is precisely the kind of action that demonstrates sound judgment.<\/p>\n And that judgment is, after all, something that develops as you gain more experience.<\/p>\n From past failures and close calls, we can learn to think, \u201cNext time, I\u2019ll do it this way\u201d or \u201cI\u2019ll fix this first.\u201d<\/p>\n It is these small, incremental steps that lead to a safer workplace.<\/p>\n I often hear people say, \u201cKids these days can\u2019t make decisions!\u201d<\/p>\n No matter what I ask her to do, she asks me about every single little thing~<\/p>\n \"Don't make your own decisions, okay?\"<\/p>\n Given all that, I'm wondering if we're being way too lenient and not letting them learn from their experiences.<\/p>\n I haven't had that experience, so I don't have enough information to judge.
