{"id":54113,"date":"2025-03-26T08:00:58","date_gmt":"2025-03-25T23:00:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/norimen.net\/wordpress\/?p=54113"},"modified":"2026-05-16T15:42:18","modified_gmt":"2026-05-16T06:42:18","slug":"trainee-race-thinking-crime","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/norimen.net\/en\/trainee-race-thinking-crime\/","title":{"rendered":"Thinking Patterns and the Likelihood of Criminal Activity Among Technical Intern Trainees by Race"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hello, everyone.<\/p>\n<p>This is Enta.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-53589\" src=\"https:\/\/norimen.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/2025-01-21-10.58.27.jpg\" alt=\"Technical Interns\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" srcset=\"https:\/\/norimen.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/2025-01-21-10.58.27.jpg 600w, https:\/\/norimen.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/2025-01-21-10.58.27-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The other day, I was talking with someone from the trainee union, and they told me about the mindset of today\u2019s trainees.<\/p>\n<p>I say that because there seem to be a lot of people going missing lately, lol.<\/p>\n<p>I guess that's just part of the national character, isn't it?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This isn't so much about getting tired of my internship work as it is about the mindset that sets in when I realize that the behind-the-scenes work is more efficient.<\/p>\n<p>If you hear that jobs in Japan aren't worth the pay, or if you're approached with an offer from an underground syndicate promising higher earnings...<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Vietnamese people<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I'll give it a try because, for now, I want to live in Japan.<\/li>\n<li>Trying a side job without anyone noticing (on weekends off, if you're in the construction industry)<\/li>\n<li>For now, I'll skip my current internship duties and work behind the scenes.<\/li>\n<li>If I want to go back to my home country, they'll let me go if I get caught.<\/li>\n<li>It's okay as long as someone can speak the language.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Nepalese<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>There are few bad networks (apparently none so far).<\/li>\n<li>I don't want to do anything bad<\/li>\n<li>God...<\/li>\n<li>I just want to go back home.<\/li>\n<li>I want to live in Japan, so I'll do my best at work and with the language.<\/li>\n<li>If I'm going to do it, I'm going to go all the way! (Religious)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Is Myanmar in a state of civil war right now? (Disappeared)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I don't mean to be racist, but I feel like Vietnamese trainees are coming to places where they should be subject to restrictions.<\/p>\n<p>Japanese people are way too kind.<\/p>\n<p>That intern who's running away really looks down on Japanese people.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>That said, the unlicensed operators who hire these runaway trainees are also at fault.<\/p>\n<p>It seems there are a lot of jobs in the industrial waste sector. (I heard that the intern who left our company is now working for an industrial waste company...)<\/p>\n<p>I'm sure the business that said that will play dumb, but you'd want to report them, right?<\/p>\n<p>Or maybe offer a reward if someone reports them right after they're hired? (Set a trap to lure them in? lol)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>That said, I really wish they would tighten up the requirements for visas and ID cards.<\/p>\n<p>All of us legitimate operators are registered and managed by public systems like CCUS, right? lol<\/p>\n<p>The technical interns who absconded are still at large.<\/p>\n<p>What the heck is Immigration doing?<\/p>\n<p>What the heck is the police doing?<\/p>\n<p>Even if you think that, since they\u2019re part of the Technical Intern Training Program, their stance is that they won\u2019t work unless you keep a close eye on them.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The media reported on how technical interns were being bullied and subjected to workplace harassment, saying it was a sad situation, but,<\/p>\n<p>The media doesn't touch on the fact that he fled and went into hiding, yet is working openly in Japan and swindling a lot of things from Japanese people.<\/p>\n<p>Even social media users\u2014such as X users\u2014who had been making a fuss over the media coverage have gone quiet because that part isn\u2019t being reported.<\/p>\n<p>They make a huge fuss only about the parts that stand out (a sense of righteousness that involves lecturing people who have nothing to do with the matter on what\u2019s right)<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-54082\" src=\"https:\/\/norimen.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/7244340908e063a19787a0134d3c32e1-e1742715360107.webp\" alt=\"Can&#039;t see the forest for the trees\" width=\"624\" height=\"498\" srcset=\"https:\/\/norimen.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/7244340908e063a19787a0134d3c32e1-e1742715360107.webp 984w, https:\/\/norimen.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/7244340908e063a19787a0134d3c32e1-e1742715360107-300x239.webp 300w, https:\/\/norimen.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/7244340908e063a19787a0134d3c32e1-e1742715360107-600x479.webp 600w, https:\/\/norimen.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/7244340908e063a19787a0134d3c32e1-e1742715360107-768x613.webp 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 624px) 100vw, 624px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>That's exactly what they mean by \"can't see the forest for the trees,\" isn't it?<\/p>\n<p>They're making fun of the trainees we've hired properly and who are working hard.<\/p>\n<p>Almost all of them are companies that are well-managed and follow legal procedures properly.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I wonder if there\u2019s anything we can do to address issues like this.<\/p>\n<p>Let's keep reporting businesses that employ foreign nationals who have overstayed their visas, and<\/p>\n<p>I hope they take strict measures, such as revoking their business license.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I always think that people who take their work seriously shouldn't be at a disadvantage because of things like this.<\/p>\n<p>More foreigners will be coming to Japan in the future.<\/p>\n<p>Most of them are probably good people.
