January is getting packed to the brim, and I'm starting to panic... lol<\/p>\n

I really hope they can spread out this backlog nicely over the course of a year...<\/p>\n

It's really tough to collect test specimens (core samples) in the winter, isn't it?<\/p>\n

My hands are freezing, which is really tough, but this is part of an administrator\u2019s important job, lol.<\/p>\n

I really hate it, but I do like the way it feels when it comes out, though~ lol<\/p>\n

However, if it's too soon or too late,<\/p>\n

They get all tattered or rock-hard, making them hard to pull out.<\/p>\n

This is just my personal guideline, but,<\/p>\n

Day 3 of Summer<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Day 5 of Winter<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

...and I'm coring it.<\/p>\n

If it's any harder than that, it'll be too tough to work with, and if it's any softer, it'll fall apart.<\/p>\n

Also, don't push too hard.<\/p>\n

As shown in the photo, the sides become wavy.<\/p>\n

It's faster if you press it, lol<\/p>\n

The blades wear out fast, lol.<\/p>\n

There's also a machine in Shibuya that presses it automatically.<\/p>\n

Automatic Feeder<\/strong><\/span><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

It's too expensive for me to buy, lol<\/p>\n

This is a minor point, but if it doesn't pull out straight, it will cause uneven loading during the compressive strength test, and<\/p>\n

There is a possibility that strength may decrease.<\/p>\n

Please be advised.<\/p>\n

The extracted cores are left to cure underwater as is until they reach the specified age.<\/p>\n

That will increase the strength and result in a form that more closely resembles on-site conditions.
\n(The specimen must be soaked in water two days prior to the compressive strength test.)<\/p>\n
