There was one like this in the photos I received the other day.<\/p>\n

At first glance, it looks like the nut is loose, but if you look closely, there are actually two nuts, right? lol<\/p>\n

Was it loose, so someone put it back on?<\/p>\n
Plus, the nut on top is completely rusted, so it\u2019s clearly not plated.<\/p>\n

But it's interesting that the order is reversed, too.<\/p>\n
Was this an installation error, or was it simply overlooked after the verification test?<\/p>\n

This photo also shows that the plate and nut are missing.<\/p>\n

If it was within reach, there's a good chance it was stolen.<\/p>\n
As we discussed the other day, it loosens easily due to vibrations, so if you tap it lightly with a hammer, it will definitely come loose.<\/p>\n
A rock would work too, but if you hit it, it comes loose easily, so you can steal it.<\/p>\n

I think it's about time the manufacturer gave this some serious thought.<\/p>\n
You don't need a head cap or a sheath.<\/p>\n
What you need is some glue to keep it from coming off.<\/p>\n

Some people might say that, but in all my experience so far, that\u2019s never happened.<\/p>\n
When removing rebar insertion tools, we cut them all at once with a backhoe (BH).<\/p>\n

I guess we'll just have to get creative until the manufacturer comes up with a solution?? lol<\/p>\n
