The other day, I conducted a poll on X (formerly Twitter) about something.<\/p>\n

Top 4 Unnecessary Things in Today's Business World During the Year-End and New Year Holidays<\/p>\n

So, that's it.<\/p>\n

I chose the top four based on my own personal bias.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

1. Next Year's Calendar<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

2. Salespeople's Year-End Greeting Rounds<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

3. New Year's Cards<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

4. Year-End Gifts<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

What do you think is the thing you need least of all?<\/p>\n

Personally, I was thinking, \u201cIt\u2019s gotta be the calendar, right!???\u201d<\/p>\n

I'm sure you all know this, but I really don't need a calendar.<\/p>\n

It's one of those annoying products that pop up around the New Year's holidays.<\/p>\n

I think this is probably one of the products most often thrown away during the year-end and New Year's holidays.<\/p>\n

I believe your company has adopted the SDGs...<\/p>\n

Just one calendar you like is fine.<\/p>\n

A tiny calendar with some random, incomprehensible landscape as the main image is just the worst, lol.<\/p>\n

There still seems to be demand for devices that can write characters and for desktop devices that can write characters. (X survey)<\/p>\n

I'm totally in the \"I don't need a calendar\" camp, lol<\/p>\n

Even if you send it to me, someone will just take it as is, or it\u2019ll end up in the industrial waste bin...<\/p>\n

It's the same with New Year's cards, isn't it?<\/p>\n

And for some reason, every November and December, I get those postcards that say, \u201cI\u2019m stopping sending New Year\u2019s cards starting this year\u201d!<\/p>\n

It just makes you wonder, \"What's this all about?\"<\/p>\n

Since no one asked for New Year's cards, you can just stop sending them whenever you want.<\/p>\n

You don't even need to announce that you're quitting, lol.<\/p>\n

If a company supports the SDGs, it doesn't need to send New Year's cards, right?<\/p>\n

People just send year-end gifts on their own, but since most people follow the \"if you get something, take it\" philosophy, there isn't much criticism, lol.<\/p>\n

We can just divide it up within the company.<\/p>\n

You really should stop doing this.<\/p>\n

Salespeople think this is just part of the job, don't they?<\/p>\n

It\u2019s like an old tradition\u2014salespeople keep coming by, but apparently everyone finds it a nuisance lol<\/p>\n

But that's not the point these days.<\/p>\n

And it's the end-of-year and New Year's season, too.<\/p>\n

And then there's the labor shortage.<\/p>\n

Each of us has a fair amount of work to do, so yeah, it\u2019s a hassle, lol.<\/p>\n

I really don't want to meet a sales rep from a materials supplier during the already-busy year-end and New Year's season lol<\/p>\n

I just think, \u201cIf I need something, I\u2019ll call!\u201d<\/p>\n

These days, there\u2019s no need to force yourself to meet up with people.<\/p>\n

Going out of my way during the New Year's holidaysYou don't have to go out of your way to make people dislike you.<\/span><\/strong><\/span>That's what I think.<\/p>\n

If I'm going anyway, I should definitely avoid the New Year's holiday season\u2014it's best to go when the site is up and running.<\/p>\n
