Anything provided by the company is the company's property.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Back in the day, workers had to pay out of their own pockets for safety gear like safety harnesses. (I imagine there are still some companies that do that today.)<\/p>\n
At Enta, the company provides everything.<\/p>\n
And even though we\u2019re supposed to have them returned when we leave the company, it doesn\u2019t seem like that\u2019s the norm, lol.<\/p>\n

That's because people who don't return them seem to think they're their own property... (We'll have them return everything after they leave the company.)<\/p>\n
That tendency is especially common among young people.<\/p>\n
Well, sometimes younger people just don't know, so...<\/p>\n
When handing them over, I need to make it very clear that if I don\u2019t resign, I\u2019ll have to return everything, but,<\/p>\n
If it's company-owned, people tend not to take good care of it.<\/p>\n
It's actually pretty beat up, isn't it...<\/p>\n
The same goes for interns, but,<\/p>\n
I find myself throwing things away as soon as they get dirty.<\/p>\n

Even though some items can last a long time if they\u2019re properly maintained and used.<\/p>\n

If the company covers the entire cost, people tend to be careless with it and don't take good care of it; if they have to pay for it themselves, the expense is too high and they can't afford to buy it.<\/p>\n
If a slope maintenance worker were to buy a full set of gear right now, it would cost at least 100,000, wouldn't it?<\/p>\n
That's a huge expense.<\/p>\n
It's a real strain on the eyes when it's used in such a cluttered way...<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
If you take good care of it and use it for many years, it will pay off.<\/p>\n
That will eventually lead to a raise.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Everything about the company eventually translates into our salaries and benefits.<\/p>\n
You don't necessarily have to think the same way you would when running a business, but I think it's good to use your imagination.<\/p>\n
I wish people would adopt the mindset that everything we buy for the company is connected to everything else, lol.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Especially the interns!! They tend to have a strong \"as long as I'm okay, it's fine\" mindset.<\/p>\n
That\u2019s just how foreigners are.<\/p>\n
I think anyone who has worked with foreigners will understand this well\u2014what do you think?<\/p>\n
Please take good care of your tools and keep them clean!<\/p>\n
