{"id":52747,"date":"2024-10-17T08:00:08","date_gmt":"2024-10-16T23:00:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/norimen.net\/wordpress\/?p=52747"},"modified":"2026-05-17T16:01:25","modified_gmt":"2026-05-17T07:01:25","slug":"a-president-facing-many-risks","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/norimen.net\/en\/president-full-of-risks\/","title":{"rendered":"A CEO's life is full of risks."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hello, everyone.<\/p>\n<p>This is Enta.<\/p>\n<p>For some reason, there's a shortage of slope engineers out there.<\/p>\n<p>We've been getting more requests for quotes on legal frameworks... but I'm afraid we can't accommodate them.<\/p>\n<p>We're also swamped right now.<\/p>\n<p>November is already off the charts lol<\/p>\n<p>I can help out with small, one-time projects, but it would be a bit difficult to do this on an ongoing basis.<\/p>\n<p>I haven't been there since December, so anywhere goes!!?<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>But that's beside the point.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Who owns the items and machinery at the company?<\/p>\n<p>Do you understand?<\/p>\n<p>There are a lot of people who misunderstand things like this.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-8397 alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/norimen.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/man_bikkuri.png\" alt=\"Oops\" width=\"384\" height=\"500\" srcset=\"https:\/\/norimen.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/man_bikkuri.png 384w, https:\/\/norimen.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/man_bikkuri-230x300.png 230w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 384px) 100vw, 384px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>People who are mistaken tend to think pretty much the same thing, but,<\/p>\n<p>Everything at the office<span style=\"font-size: 130%;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">The President's Stuff<\/span><\/strong><\/span>That's what I think.<\/p>\n<p>That's not true.<\/p>\n<p>Those Things<span style=\"font-size: 130%;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">All belong to the corporation<\/span><\/strong><\/span>That's right.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">What Is a Corporation?<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff; font-size: 18px;\"><strong>\"Although not human, they are recognized as legal persons under the law and may validly perform legal acts,<br \/>\n\"A person who has been granted the status to be a subject of rights and obligations.\"<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>That's the point.<\/p>\n<p>If you make a purchase using profits earned through company activities, everything becomes the property of the company as a legal entity.<\/p>\n<p>The idea that \u201cwhat belongs to the company belongs to the president\u201d is wrong.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>However, when a company makes a major purchase,<span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">The business owner is a joint guarantor<\/span><\/strong><\/span>We take out a loan for this purpose. (Although this doesn't happen very often these days.)<\/p>\n<p>That means that if something goes wrong at the company, the management will take full responsibility for it.<\/p>\n<p>That's where the risk for business owners lies.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s exactly why business owners are so stingy. (It goes without saying.)<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-8398 alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/norimen.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/17625947.jpg\" alt=\"Stingy\" width=\"271\" height=\"285\" \/><\/p>\n<p>If you have a mortgage, you probably know exactly what I mean\u2014you spent your whole life building that house, right? lol (Though there are exceptions, of course.)<\/p>\n<p>I think I took out a mortgage with myself as the joint guarantor and insured myself.<\/p>\n<p>Can you just kick that house or break it apart? You'll take good care of it, right?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It's the same thing.<\/p>\n<p>From the company president\u2019s perspective, he will do everything he can to protect the company he built by taking out a loan\u2014a decision that consumed his entire life.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s exactly why we take good care of the company\u2019s equipment and machinery, and why we pay attention to the little things. (It goes without saying, lol.)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This is just how it is.<\/p>\n<p>What about the CEOs at your companies? (Except for the big ones, lol)<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">We're taking on considerable risks behind the scenes<\/span><\/strong><\/span>That's right.<\/p>\n<p>There are plenty of other risks as well.<\/p>\n<p>These days, that's the kind of CEO you see everywhere.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>That said, I don't want you to understand that at all, but,<\/p>\n<p>The point is that it's better to know than not to know.<\/p>\n<p>And that makes it a little easier to be nice to the boss, right?
