These are ground anchors from the Noto Earthquake.<\/p>\n
In the photo above, a large load-bearing structure has shifted\u2014perhaps the prestressed steel strands have snapped?<\/p>\n

It has completely snapped, and the tie-down anchor has been severed, causing the head to come off.<\/p>\n

There is an anchor located beneath the visible tie anchor.<\/p>\n
The dented area is hidden by the anchor head.<\/p>\n

A concrete bearing plate on top of the PC bearing plate.<\/p>\n
Are they adjusting the angle to avoid the group effect???<\/p>\n
That said, since it\u2019s a multi-layer installation, maybe this anchor is\u2026 just barely hanging on?? lol<\/p>\n

As for the construction work, I assume they\u2019re making the borehole longer to extend the anchorage depth further in, but isn\u2019t that load-bearing plate just way too heavy?? lol<\/p>\n
That's the impression I get, but I guess it was working even after the initial installation.<\/p>\n

Another thing that comes to mind is, \"Isn't it just water, after all?\"<\/p>\n
Well, I don't know the exact details, but given how much they've ramped up their efforts\u2014it's an incredible situation for Anchor\u2014so what are they going to do about this going forward?<\/p>\n

Once installed, ground anchors can be quite a hassle and are difficult to remove, but,<\/p>\n
Given this situation, wouldn't it be better to just remove everything completely rather than spending money to investigate whether it's safe?<\/p>\n
To begin with, since he\u2019s hitting the ball harder than usual, it\u2019s entirely possible that he\u2019s feeling a bit tense.<\/p>\n
Removing everything and starting over is the most cost-effective option.<\/p>\n
How do we do that?<\/p>\n
