When we were young, our parents often told us it would be good to learn a trade, didn't they?<\/p>\n

Do you know what that means?<\/p>\n
Is it especially hard for young people these days to relate to this? (Is it because they're part of the digital generation??)<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Well, to put it simply, the construction industry is also a trade, isn't it?<\/p>\n
That goes for designers, and it\u2019s true for us slope engineers, too\u2014we\u2019re all skilled tradespeople.<\/p>\n
Being able to earn a living with just your own two hands is what it means to have a marketable skill.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Skills you\u2019ve truly mastered will serve you well throughout your life.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s often said that people who really put in the effort in their 20s and 30s start to stand out in their 40s.<\/p>\n

Three Years on a Rock (The 10,000-Hour Rule)<\/p>\n
They say that if you do it right, you\u2019re basically a full-fledged professional, and from there you keep honing your skills. (In a way, this might be the starting line.)<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
That way, you'll definitely never forget, right?<\/p>\n
It's just like not forgetting to brush your teeth.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s thanks to my daily practice that I can brush thoroughly every day without even thinking about it.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
That said, however, skilled trades evolve with the times.<\/p>\n
If a trade doesn't evolve, it will disappear.<\/p>\n
For example, footwear evolved from going barefoot to wearing straw sandals, then from straw sandals to geta, and finally from geta to shoes.<\/p>\n
But these days, there aren't any geta shops anymore.<\/p>\n
Even straw sandal shops are just souvenir shops these days, huh? lol<\/p>\n

I\u2019ll continue working using the skills I have now, while also creating jobs for the next generation.<\/p>\n
To survive! We must change and evolve!<\/p>\n

By acquiring a skill and continuing to hone it, you\u2019ll be able to see what lies ahead.<\/p>\n
Learning a trade is hard work, but it\u2019s a skill that will support you for the rest of your life.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s often said that slope maintenance workers are a profession that will never disappear as long as there are mountains. (Technically, it\u2019s part of infrastructure.)<\/p>\n

Let's keep refining this technology and pass it on to the next generation ^^<\/p>\n
