Today is a substitute holiday for Mountain Day.<\/p>\n
For some reason, today is a day full of meetings lol<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
And it's a major company, lol<\/p>\n
So, in the end, there are quite a few people who are being sacrificed in the name of work-style reform.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
How about your company?<\/p>\n
In fact, profitability has been declining.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Work isn't getting done, deadlines are being pushed back, but they're telling us to take time off...<\/p>\n
There's just nothing we can do about it, is there?<\/p>\n
Given the circumstances, since I was called in for a meeting, I guess they probably haven't told the company yet.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Especially managers at big companies\u2014they get pressured from above, told by customers to \u201cjust fix it!\u201d\u2014and their subordinates are just saying they want a break, lol.<\/p>\n
A manager I know has been having trouble sleeping lately, so I hear he's been taking some strong sleeping pills.<\/p>\n

These really are tough times.<\/p>\n
But overseas, it\u2019s not like that at all\u2014if you want to do it, go ahead; if you don\u2019t, that\u2019s fine too.<\/p>\n
A system in which they said this would be reflected in one's salary.<\/p>\n
In Japan, everyone has to march in lockstep... (It's just the height of stupidity.)<\/p>\n

It's because we're doing things like this that we're losing our competitiveness and influence on the world stage.<\/p>\n
I guess I'll just have to put up with whatever they say and do to me.<\/p>\n
Is it the politicians' fault, or is it the bureaucrats' fault...<\/p>\n
We at the bottom have no way of knowing, but even so, we have no choice but to compete within that group, don't we?<\/p>\n
I want to keep doing my very best, no matter what.<\/p>\n

I\u2019d like to do work that allows me to compete effectively with the big players, even if it\u2019s just in certain areas ^^<\/p>\n

It looks like I'll be glued to 3D CAD during the Obon holiday. (It's part of my struggle, lol.)<\/p>\n
