This is one of the tools I've been using lately that's really handy!<\/p>\n
There's something called that.<\/p>\n

This is it!<\/p>\n
This is a layout tool.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Generally speaking, it\u2019s more commonly associated with architecture than civil engineering, isn\u2019t it?<\/p>\n
I'm using that in my legal work, lol.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The great thing about this is that it makes it incredibly easy to check for horizontal and vertical alignment.<\/p>\n
Whether you're making a formwork frame, a zabuton frame, or marking the positions for rebar insertion, you always use a level and plumb line, right?<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
You can use a lowering motion just like in the old days.<\/p>\n
Also, even if you just glance at it, the results are generally accurate, aren't they?<\/p>\n
But I'm actually going to use this, lol.<\/p>\n

It's just so convenient.<\/p>\n
It makes it easy to get things level and plumb.<\/p>\n
That said, even though green is the easiest color to see outdoors, it\u2019s still hard to see lol.<\/p>\n
It can be tough when the sun is blazing, but since there's a light sensor, you can mark the spot reliably if you use it.<\/p>\n
When you move the light sensor to the location of the laser, it beeps to let you know.<\/p>\n
It appears that the light-receiving range is 1 to 20 meters.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
And even at the highest point, the laser line is projected regardless of the undulations in the terrain.<\/p>\n

Normally, you'd stretch the PP rope horizontally and vertically and slowly press it against the natural ground by hand, right?<\/p>\n
You don't even have to do that\u2014it'll print out crisp and clear with ease!<\/p>\n
It's really convenient!<\/p>\n

The other day, I used this to mark the location of a catch basin.<\/p>\n
You can easily mark the position regardless of any bumps on the liner plate!<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
This will be our greatest weapon as slope engineers!<\/p>\n
Depending on how you use it, I think you could get creative with it.<\/p>\n
Are you seriously using a measuring device to mark out the legal boundaries or something? lol<\/p>\n
Anyway, I highly recommend it.<\/p>\n
