The first thing I taught them was self-defense.<\/p>\n
Once you enter the workforce, by the time you're around 25, lots of shady adults will try to take advantage of you young folks! lol<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Young people don't know much about society.<\/p>\n
Before you know it, they've tricked you into buying something expensive, recruited you into a network marketing scheme, or sold you study materials for a certification.<\/p>\n
Multi-level marketing schemes are really something, aren't they?<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
They target young people who know nothing and recruit them by talking about dreams\u2014dreams that even the young people themselves don\u2019t know about\u2014as if anyone could achieve them.<\/p>\n
Well, in a way, I suppose it\u2019s a kind of religion, but it\u2019s a scary thing.<\/p>\n

We had plenty of those moments when we were young, didn't we?<\/p>\n
I got bombarded with sales pitches, and I even went to a seminar just out of curiosity lol<\/p>\n

Come to think of it, there aren't many people who've succeeded that way, are there?<\/p>\n
Do you know anyone around you who\u2019s incredibly successful?<\/p>\n
Plus, I don't even know if it's true or not, lol.<\/p>\n

In any case, there are bad adults out there preying on young kids, so we really need to be careful, don't we?<\/p>\n
There\u2019s also a scam where young people who have already been deceived by unscrupulous adults try to lure others in, so please be very careful.<\/p>\n

If someone in a network marketing business who makes 100 million yen a year were to appear,<\/p>\n
I told them to submit their withholding tax forms, financial statements, and resident tax payment certificates so I could verify them.<\/p>\n
It's mostly just lies that sound like the truth, after all.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
I also told them to contact the company if they had any questions, encountered any problems, or were approached by someone making a suspicious sales pitch.<\/p>\n
I told them that I would provide them with appropriate options, and that it was up to them to choose one.<\/p>\n
You can look it up online, but that\u2019s not the whole truth.<\/p>\n
Since the harsh realities of society aren't limited to the workplace, I'd like to teach them about those things as well.<\/p>\n
