Lately, I've been developing a system for budget estimates, quotations, order processing, and cost management. (As I've mentioned before.)<\/p>\n

If we set up a centralized management system like this, won't we lose sight of what the work actually entails?<\/p>\n
That's what I thought, so I ended up making them one by one after all.<\/p>\n
That's just how things have always been.<\/p>\n
So even now, we\u2019ve been doing it as a matter of course\u2014drawing up budgets and getting quotes from suppliers.<\/p>\n

It just occurred to me\u2014that era is long gone, and we\u2019re in the age of construction DX, right?<\/p>\n
Even government cost estimates use market unit prices so that they can be calculated as simply as possible, right?<\/p>\n
The unit price might be important from the company's perspective, but I don't really worry about it that much during construction\u2014as long as we can manage the costs...<\/p>\n

When I think about it, I get the feeling that the system I'm currently developing has nothing to do with labor rates or anything like that.<\/p>\n
The days of spending time on estimates and operating budgets are over, and<\/p>\n
As soon as you enter the design quantities, the cost pops right up.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n There will likely be some variation in the loss rate depending on the specific site, but if we can compile statistics over a period of several years, it should be possible to consolidate the data into a single figure.<\/p>\n I've been using this budget tool for a few years now\u2014all I have to do is enter the necessary details, like area, into Excel, and it calculates everything for me lol.<\/p>\n It takes about 5 minutes to create a budget within the legal framework.<\/p>\n If anything needs to be entered, it would be the unit prices from the material suppliers.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n We're currently developing a system that makes this accessible to everyone.<\/p>\n If material suppliers and contractors submit their quotes using the designated form within a specified period,<\/p>\n We plan to make it possible to draw that up.<\/p>\n That way, suppliers wouldn't have to provide different quotes for each company, and it would be easier to apply different discount rates for each company when billing, right?<\/p>\n <\/p>\n That's all for now; next week, we'll work on the cost management section.<\/p>\n To make cost management easier and simpler.<\/p>\n And, can the people on the front lines tell at a glance whether the operation is turning a profit\u2014or not?
