The other day, I got in touch with the general contractor in Toyama Prefecture and asked them a number of questions.<\/p>\n

I hear there was quite a bit of damage in the Toyama area as well.<\/p>\n

I've heard that, at the request of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, one team is heading to the Noto Peninsula to carry out restoration work.<\/p>\n

Local general contractors in the construction industry generally have disaster response agreements in place with local government offices, so they respond accordingly in the event of an emergency.<\/p>\n

However, local general contractors are also working full steam ahead on the restoration efforts.<\/p>\n

I know I shouldn't be saying things like that during a crisis like this, but,<\/p>\n

I believe that if the media would report on this more thoroughly, it would help improve the image of the construction industry!<\/p>\n

People might say, \u201cWhat kind of thing is that to say at a time like this?\u201d but this is important, too!<\/p>\n

The future of the construction industry is at stake!<\/p>\n

It\u2019s precisely during times of crisis like this that we want to show just how amazing the construction industry is!!<\/p>\n

With that thought in mind, I\u2019m spending another day feeling restless.<\/p>\n

That said, what we can do is quickly and easily install shallow wells.<\/p>\n

We have also contacted our general contractor to let them know that we would like to proceed with installing wells once the roads in the disaster-stricken area have been restored to a certain extent.<\/p>\n
